Chapter 10: lily’s target.

“Si-eun’s lashes fluttered as he slowly blinked awake.”

’Heavy.’ was the first thing he thought when he noticed something soft and warm pressing against him.

His blurry vision blinked into focus, clear enough to notice the voluptuous pink haired maid sprawled on him.

“Oh shit!” He panicked.

Despite being a twenty two years old adult in his previous life, Si-eun had never touched a woman.

It was the first time he’d been this close to a girl and one that was quite attractive, the physical contact alone was sending his heart into a wild state.

Lily let out a startled yelp jolting awake, her hands immediately reaching for the spot Si-eun had hit her.

“Y-Young master?”

“Don’t young master me! Why the hell were you lying on top of my body.”

Tears welled up in her eyes whilst she hurriedly tried to get up.

Her attempts however, were making things worse for Si-eun, he could already notice a defiant organ desperate to ruin his image, rise like the spear of Longinus.

She stiffled a surprised gasp as he did, but straightened the moment he gazed at her.

“I want details, what happened when I was unconscious.” He asked.

Lily hesitated for a while but finally gave in.

“You… you fainted.”

“I am well aware of that fact.” Si-eun replied with a frown.

“A-After that, the duke and duchess brought you back, they tried everything to wake you up but you didn’t budge.”

Si-eun’s gaze darkened.

“That doesn’t answer anything. What the hell were you doing on top of me?”

Lily answered with a stutter.

“Ah… y-young master it’s not like that, it’s just that no matter how people tried, you didn’t wake up, it took some time to finally have a bit of time with you so I just dumped the other ingredients into your stomach.”

’This crazy bitch, doesn’t she know that they’re both poisonous? No fuck it, she definitely knew.’

Si-eun ran a hand through his head and let out an exasperated sigh but lily wasn’t done.

“A-And since you weren’t awake i-i… I had to feed you the antidote… through my mouth.”

Her voice was low, barely audible but enough for Si-eun to hear.

Si-eun froze, a cold chill enveloped his body causing him to shudder involuntarily.

“Y…You did what?”

“I fed you using my mouth.” She repeated innocently.

Si-eun nearly fainted on the spot.

If it were anyone else he wouldn’t have freaked out or made a big deal about it but this was lily we were talking about, blessed by Lilith, if she found him compatible with her just from touching lips with him then he was as good as dead.

She wouldn’t leave his side till she’s drained all his essence which meant she wouldn’t leave his side until he was dead.

“Young master?”

Si-eun’s body jerked involuntarily.

He quick turned to the side in hopes of getting a glass of water, however at that moment bile rose to his throat.

In one swift motion he jumped off the bed and ran to the bathroom.

After emptying his stomach contents which turned out to be blue due to the Moonsbane flower and the poisonous contents, he splashed some water on his face.

’Think… Si-eun, think, just because she kissed you doesn’t mean you guys are compatible, I hope we’re not… I don’t want to die from having my life force sucked out of me.’

Little did he know though, that he was indeed compatible with lily… infact, it went beyond being compatible.

From the moment she was spawned, to the moment where her personality was split before invading the mortal realm, she only focused on honoing her abilities due to the fact that most demons besides high ranking ones had no desire.

But it did weaken her slightly, just enough to put her to sleep which explains the awkward situation Si-eun woke up to.

After a few minutes, Si-eun came out of the bathroom drenched and shirtless.

He decided to take a bath from there, clearly expecting lily to have left the room but to his suprise she was still there, waiting with a proper posture like a maid.

His eyes twitched.

“What are you still doing here.”

Lily stared at him confused.

“What do you mean young master, I have to dress you up.”

“No! Damn it noo! Get out lily what the hell do you mean dress me up.” He yelled his face red from embarrassment.

“You don’t know, young master?”

“Know what?”

“Lady Leona just arrived at the duchy today, the duke and duchess as well as the young miss and youngest has gone to receive her.”

Si-eun paled.

His gaze flickered to the side as he shuddered.

His eldest sister Leona, the one who killed him in at least five playthroughs of the game was here in the duchy.

No one knows what transpired between them, only the fact that she hated his guts.

“How am I supposed to know anything you idiot, I was unconscious.” He muttered with exasperation.

Without wasting another second he darted towards his wardrobe, but not before throwing a glance towards lily.

“Leave” he command with urgency.

The moment she did, he quickly changed into a light blue tunic with black pants then styled his hair into a ponytail.

After confirming he looked decent enough, he wore a pair of boots then hurriedly left his room.

As he did, lily watched him from the end of the corridor, her expression unreadable.

A seductive voice sounded within her mind, cold and slightly amused.

“Lily…”

“I know.” Lily cut her off.” He has the trickster’s mark.”
