Ember went back ot her residence feeling relaxed. She hadn’t expected that Kline would call her into her office simply because she wanted to have sex. Had she known, she would have asked Aiden to stay. She licked her lips, the taste of Kline still on them.

As soon as she stepped into the room, she planted a kiss on Aiden. He could taste the difference immediately. Rather than shy away, he picked her up and kissed her deeply. Walking to the sofa, he sat down with Ember straddling him.

“Better safe than sorry. I think we might need to let the toxins run in our bodies for a while. That means no sex until we figure out what’s going on.” Ember suggested.

Aiden leaned against Ember’s shoulder and pouted like a child. This was one of the rare times she had seen Aiden act like this. What made it more significant is that other people were present.

“You’ll be fine.” Ember rolled her eyes. “The same goes for you two,” she pointed at Cassandra and Luka. “No sex until I say so.”

They nodded quickly while looking at each other with a look of exasperation.

“I feel a little uneasy about this,” Cassandra stated. “What if they’ve already found out there’s nothing wrong with us?”

“It’s unlikely. We’ve been mimicking what we see. And even if we are a little more restrained, we still have sex at the drop of a hat. Isn’t that what they want?” Luka questioned, rubbing his temples. He never thought there would be such a day, saying the word sex would give him a headache.

“Tired already?” Aiden quipped.

“Tired of other people,” Luka countered. “Cass is still the only one for me.”

“What about us?” Ember said, appearing offended. “Do we mean nothing to you?” She grabbed Aiden’s shirt, sobbing dramatically.

“Don’t worry, Em. These two ingrates aren’t worthy of our time.” Aiden played along, laughing.

Cassandra and Luka sat over to one side, watching them act.

“Yes, yes, we are ungrateful,” Cassandra conceded. “How should we be punished?” she asked sarcastically.

While Ember and her group were having their own fun, Valentina and the system were talking about the anomalies. They were able to pinpoint two and had those two lead them to the others.

Not the most sophisticated plan, but it worked nonetheless.

Valentina was curious to see what would happen ig these people were separated. She did not like the anomalies. If they could survive, it meant there were things the system could not control. If that were the case, there might be a day when others decide to revolt.

System, when we separate them, make sure to have the toxins filter into the places they will be. I want to see if the dose is strong enough, if they can still resist.

She decided her plan would start on the following day. Since they were able to resist, they can be put to work. Nowhere important, but somewhere it won’t matter if everyone decided to have an orgy.
