Chapter 20: Just sleeping

Ember and Aiden didn’t talk immediately. Ember wasn’t kidding when she said she wanted dinner. She was hungry. She never knew orgasms could be so energy-intensive.

Valentina decided to grace them with her presence while they were eating.

What was she doing outside for so long? Ember didn’t know, nor did she care.

What she cared about was going upstairs and getting a bath.

Ember changed the subject.

Aiden didn’t want to take things any further when she was ready, she would tell him.

“I’m sleeping in here tonight,” he stated as he walked to her bed.

“Don’t you have your own room? Why do you want to crowd mine?”

Aiden looked at the king-sized bed, raised an eyebrow, and said, “Crowd? What crowd?”

“Don’t act like you don’t know what I’m talking about.” Your room is over there,” she said, pointing at the wall.

Aiden’s room was to the right of her room, directly beside it.

Stalking towards Ember, Aiden said, “Your room, my room. Why does there need to be a distinction?”

He stood in front of Ember, his dark eyes gazing down at her. He wrapped his arm around her waist, pulling her to him.

“You don’t think you can leave me all alone, do you, little thing?” He leaned down and whispered in her ear, “Remember you’re mine. Just because I haven’t completely claimed you doesn’t mean you can run away.

Aiden gave her a princess hug and carried her to the bed. He didn’t place her gently; instead he opted to throw her on the bed.

Ember’s scream echoed in the room. She didn’t expect Aiden to throw her like that. Does he think she is a sack of potatoes?

She glared at Aiden, not really unhappy, just thinking about how to get back at him.

“Don’t look at me like that, I might not be able to resist and take you tonight. And don’t think about revenge, that was for biting me earlier.” Aiden stated as he got into bed.

Taking off his shirt, he cuddled Ember.

Ember looked down and realized she wasn’t wearing any clothes. How did she not remember she wasn’t wearing clothes when she came out of the bathroom?

As she lay there, with Aiden against her back, she felt his cock come to life.
