Chapter 5: Love Lunch

Ember woke up the next day feeling revitalised.

The embarrassment of the kiss was out of her system. Now she had the reward and would see if it worked.

If it did, maybe Aiden wouldn’t be mad at her. Plus, she could make him have a crisis. Do I just see her as my little sister, or is it something else?

Ember laughed while getting ready. She was ready to take on the day and make a man so hard he could barely walk.

She changed into something more eye-catching, hoping that if he didn’t hate her from the kiss and he was questioning himself, it would give him some incentive.

She got into her car, the food safely in a container on the front seat and headed to the company.

She parked and walked to reception. She wanted to give her brother a surprise. Though it isn’t hard to guess since she called, she still wanted to do it the right way.

“Good afternoon, my name is Ember, and I’m looking for Aiden Montclaire. Would it be possible for you to let him know that I’m here?”

The receptionist looked at her. She eyed her up and down, with something resembling disgust.

“Do you have an appointment? No, but if you tell him my name, he’ll know who it is.”

“I’m sorry, Mr Montclaire is in a meeting right now and can’t see you,” the receptionist said.

“You didn’t even call him.” Ember deadpanned.

“He’s currently in a meeting with Ms Richards. Even if I called, he wouldn’t stop to talk to you.”

Ember’s anger flared at hearing the name. She was here, in Aiden’s office. That bitch.

Ember took out her phone and called him directly. As per usual, the phone was answered almost immediately.

“Brother, are you in a meeting? Your receptionist said you’re in a meeting. I’m downstairs.”

“I’ll come meet you. Don’t be angry.”

He hung up before she could say anything else.

She didn’t even bother looking at the receptionist. Just stood there waiting for Aiden.

Aiden looked at the woman across from him. He thought to himself, at least she’s useful for something.

“Valentina, I need to go downstairs and collect Ember. You don’t mind, do you?”

Aiden, always the picture of propriety, asked.

“Of course not, however, I’m not sure how your sister would feel seeing me here.”

She lowered her eyes, as if afraid he would make her leave.

“No need to worry, I’ll be right back.”

By the time he got downstairs, it was already three minutes later, and the receptionist was looking at her with contempt.

Ember didn’t pay her any heed. It’s not like her brother could teleport. He needed to actually walk.

Aiden, however, couldn’t keep silent. He poked her cheek.

“Why is the little miss sulking? Did I do something wrong?”

She glared at him, folding her arms. She turned away from him, her giant breasts swinging with her.

Aiden’s eyes darted to them. He only took a glance before turning away. If he looked any more, his cock would give him away.

Entering the office, they saw Valentina sitting there. Looking ever the polite young woman. Not the debaucherous soul Ember knew was in there.

Ember almost threw the lunch at her head. She turned a glare to Aiden, who looked like he had nothing to do with the situation. If she could see his face properly, she would notice the smile at the corner of his mouth.

He had to say that using Valentina to rile Ember up really does the job. He isn’t sure why she doesn’t like her. But if it can get her to do what she did yesterday and more, then he doesn’t care.

Ember walked over to her brother’s desk, slamming the food down on it, then proceeded to move documents and sat on top of the table.

“Miss Richards, what gave you the idea that my brother likes you?”

Valentina didn’t know what to say. She wasn’t sure if he liked her. They had only met a few times, and it was always her taking the initiative, but he never said no.

She looked at the man who was looking at his sister and was unsure of what to say.

“Brother, come here,” Ember motioned to Aiden.

After sitting on top of the table, she wasn’t as tall as Aiden, but it was close enough. She looked at Valentina and smirked.

She hooked her brother’s neck. Valentina’s eyes went wide, thinking she was going to kiss him again.

But no one expected what Ember did next.

She pulled Aiden down and put his face directly into her cleavage.
