Chapter 107: Tournament of Supremacy
A few days later…
In the sky above all worlds, light and sound came together. A voice filled the air, deep and strong.
It was Suelo.
The Strongest God.
“All must hear me!” he said. “I, Suelo, the Main God, call for a great test. A fight that will shake the stars. A tournament across 18 Universes!”
People from every world stopped and looked up. The skies lit up with Suelo’s power.
“Each Universe must send their strongest!” Suelo said. “Four fighters! Mortal only! No gods, no half-gods! Only true-born fighters!”
“And to make this fair… the Grand Devil will be the host.”
Many gasped. The Grand Devil had not been seen in a long time. But if she was to host it, the tournament would be real… and deadly.
Suelo’s voice echoed one last time.
“Prepare well. You have three moons. The fight will decide which world stands above the rest.”
Then, the skies returned to normal.
…
In a quiet house near the edge of a green field, Ian sat by the window, tea in hand.
He looked out, his mind far away.
Barseagle leaned on the door. “So… he really said it. A fight across all Universes?”
Ian nodded. “Yes. And the rules are clear. Only mortals. That leaves me and Grand Elder out.”
Barseagle smiled. “That’s fine. You’re tired of fighting anyway.”
The Grand Elder stepped into the room. “So… what will you do?”
Ian stood up. “Our Universe needs a team. I’ll find the best four.”
“You’ll choose them?” Barseagle asked.
“I will,” Ian said. “I’ve seen many wars. Many heroes. I know who is ready.”
He looked out the window again. “This fight will bring more than just blood. It will bring change. Well, probably.” He chuckled.
The next day…
Ian flew over the mountains and clouds of the First Universe. His body moved like wind, unseen and fast.
He stopped above a tall building, where the Human World’s best hunters trained.
Inside, a man stood on a tall rock, eyes closed, swords floating around him.
Ian landed.
“Damon,” he said.
The man opened his eyes.
“Ian,” Damon said with a nod. “It’s been a thousand years.”
“You’re still sharp,” Ian said. “For a human, you have a long lifespan.”
“Well, that’s thanks to my bloodline.” Damon smiled. “You don’t call unless it’s big.”
Ian stepped forward. “The Main God called for a tournament. All Universes. Mortals only.”
Damon raised a brow. “And you want me?”
“You’re one of the strongest in this world. I need you on the team.”
Damon stepped down from the rock and looked at the sky.
“I’ll do it,” he said. “If this is for our world, I’ll fight with all I have.”
Ian placed a hand on Damon’s shoulder. “Good. You are the first. Now I must find the next three.”
For the second member…
Ian traveled across the desert lands of the Beast Tribes. There, deep under the sand, a great fighter lived in silence.
Her name was Kaelra, a lion-kin warrior known to defeat whole armies with just her hands.
Ian found her training near a stone, punching again and again, sweat dripping.
“You’ve not changed,” Ian said.
Kaelra turned and smiled. “You again? What brings the ’Walker Beside Destruction’ to my cave?”
“A fight,” Ian said. “The biggest one yet.”
Kaelra listened. Her eyes lit up with fire.
“I accept. Fighting for our Universe? That’s the kind of test I love.”
Ian smiled. “Then you’re the second.”
The third member…
Ian went deep into the sea world of the Merfolk.
There, in the deep blue, he found a silent guardian. A man named Lys, who could control water with his mind.
Lys lived alone, near a great coral tower. He sat still, watching the waves.
“I need you,” Ian said, standing over the water.
Lys rose, water swirling around him. “Why?”
“A war between the best of all Universes. And you… are one of the best.”
Lys thought for a moment. Then gave a small nod. “Very well. I’ll join.”
Three were chosen.
Damon the Sword, Kaelra the Beast, and Lys the Wave.
Only one more left.
But Ian did not rush.
He flew above the clouds, searching far across the First Universe.
He would find the last soon.
…
Across the stars, across all the 18 Universes…
The air shifted.
Time moved faster, then slower.
Every being could feel it.
The Tournament of Supremacy was coming.
And its host… was the Grand Devil herself.
In the void between all worlds, where space bent and light did not reach, a great throne floated.
On it sat the Grand Devil.
Not a man. Not a beast.
A woman with hair like fire and eyes like endless night.
She smiled.
“So, this is the game Suelo wants?” she said, her voice echoing across time.
She raised her hand.
With one wave, giant rings of stone, crystal, and light appeared in the middle of the Universes.
Each ring held lands, sky, water, and floating islands — large enough to hold gods.
This was the Arena of Supremacy.
“The Tournament begins soon,” the Grand Devil said. “And the name… shall be mine. Let all call it the Tournament of Supremacy!”
Her laugh filled the void like thunder.
Meanwhile, in each Universe…
Teams began to rise.
Universe Two sent its strongest war monks. Four calm fighters, each able to punch through stars with one blow.
Universe Three brought the Four Sisters of Frost, ice queens born of magic and storms. They had no army, only each other, and that was enough.
Universe Four called upon machines. Four war bots, each powered by living minds, each with a soul born from pain.
Universe Five sent shadows, beings who could not be seen unless they wished it. No one knew their names. Not even their own.
Universe Six sent dragons, real ones. Their forms could speak, walk, or burn entire lands with a breath. One of them, the red one, was older than time itself. He’s called the Great Red.
Universe Seven sent warriors of sound, beings who spoke in sounds and war songs. Their leader, a quiet bard, could make a heart stop with one string of his harp.
All the Universes moved, choosing their best.
Each team had four fighters.
No gods.
No spirits.
Only mortals.
But these mortals… were the strongest of their kind.
Back in the First Universe…
Ian sat on a cliff, watching the skies shift with light.
The team had three members now: Damon, Kaelra, and Lys.
One more was still missing.
Barseagle sat beside him, chewing on some dried meat. “Feels like the whole world’s holding its breath.”
Ian nodded. “It is.”
The Grand Elder walked up with a scroll in hand. “Suelo just gave out the rules.”
Ian stood.
“Read it,” he said.
The Grand Elder opened the scroll. His voice deep.
The Rules of the Tournament of Supremacy:
Eighteen Universes. One team each. Four mortal fighters per team.
No gods, half-gods, spirits, or beings made by gods. Only those born and raised as mortals.
Teams will face each other in rounds. Win to move forward. Lose… and your Universe is erased.
No help allowed. No healing from outside. No breaking the space between matches.
Only one Universe shall remain.
Silence fell.
Even Barseagle looked serious now. “Erased? That’s… heavy.”
Ian looked to the sky.
Suelo’s voice then echoed across the stars again.
“Let all who breathe know this: If your team loses… your world, your stars, your people, all will vanish. Nothing will be left. No second chance. No mercy.”
All Universes heard it.
All fighters felt the heaviness.
Some cried.
Some laughed.
Some burned with rage.
In the middle of the Arena of Supremacy, the Grand Devil stood now.
She smiled.
She raised her arms.
Great towers lit up.
One for each Universe.
And then…
A giant orb of white fire appeared above the center.
Suelo’s voice returned.
“The Tournament of Supremacy… begins in five days.”
Across every Universe…
Hope rose.
Fear grew.
And war was near.
Back in the First Universe…
Ian stood on a mountain alone.
His eyes closed.
He had found the fourth fighter.
But he had not told anyone yet.
Because this one…
Was not just strong.
He was dangerous.
