I hugged Ohm right there in the driveway after we killed the engine from that wild first lap, my arms wrapping around him quick and tight because the car keys were still warm in my palm and my head was still buzzing from how smooth the ride felt and how he’d just dropped this whole surprise on me without even blinking. “Seriously teddy bear thank you I mean it, this is insane but I’m keeping it okay don’t even think about taking it back or I’ll chase you down myself and make you regret it,” I said pulling back with a grin that I hoped looked normal even though my stomach was doing flips because a car just like that from him after everything felt too big too fast but I wasn’t about to let him see me freaking out over it.

He laughed that short pretty way he always does and clapped me on the shoulder before hopping back into his own ride and peeling out with a wave yelling something about bad ideas over the engine but I just stood there watching him go until the taillights disappeared down the road.

Then I turned to head inside with the rest of the family piling through the front door and right away, I caught Si Woo’s face that dangerous look all narrowed eyes and tight jaw like he was two seconds from punching the wall or me or both and Dad was right behind him smiling this huge grin that screamed he had some plan cooking already. At that moment, I knew it because Mom was shaking her head fast with her hands up like she was shutting the whole thing down before it even started. “No you should not even think about it,” Mom said first her voice sharp and final as she stepped between us all in the foyer.

Dad just kept smiling, clapping his hands together like everything was already decided. “Come on, son if he’s able to see it, ask if Ye Jun sees the vision here if he’s able to seduce that Ohm kid we’re talking all the business deals locked down tight, the biggest Thailand connections hello Ye Jun you’re super fucking rich already but imagine the empire we could build off this.”

I stopped dead in the middle of the foyer my mouth opening before I could even think because what the actual hell was he on about right now pushing me like some chess piece in his boardroom games when all I wanted was to enjoy the damn car and maybe crash on the couch without turning the whole morning into some scheme. “No Dad we’re both boys,” I said out loud keeping it short even though inside my head it was all crashing around because yeah I knew I actually liked guys no point pretending after everything with Si Woo and how he’d been sneaking into my room for a while now but no, it wasn’t right especially in this omega verse where stuff like that was supposed to be official only if it fit the labels and the pairings and all that crap they drilled into us at school and I wasn’t about to spill any of that out loud not with everyone staring.

Dad waved it off like I’d said something cute and pointless still grinning away. “By the way we have relations to Thailand so why not just take it. It’s perfect the connections alone would set us up for years.”

My face got hot fast, the words just spilling out because I couldn’t hold them back anymore. “That’s disgusting, that’s for gay what is that, no way I’m not doing that crap Dad seriously, what are you even saying right now.”

Mom jumped right in talking faster than Dad could finish his next sentence, her hand on my shoulder like she was shielding me from the whole idea. “No no we actually have relations with the other alphas and it’s not all normal, Ye Jun is right, things like that may look normal these days especially with how you look all like all those small omega people, you’ve got going on the soft edges and the way you carry yourself it’s not disgusting it’s just how it is now stop acting like my son is doing something crazy by refusing. ”

Si Woo exploded then his voice loud and booming through the foyer like he was the expert on everything moral all of a sudden. “It’s disgusting all this gay stuff Ye Jun can’t just be out here doing that shit what the hell Dad you serious right now pushing him on some rich Thai guy because of a car, are you hearing yourself, this is gross I mean come on we’re not turning him into some business bait for alpha on alpha or whatever the hell you’re cooking up.”

And me I was standing there trying to keep my face straight but inside I couldn’t wrap my head around any of it, because here was Si Woo my stepbrother who’d had his dick in my ass multiple times literally just last week pinning me down and telling me to shut up and take it now standing there, yelling about how gay stuff was disgusting like he wasn’t the biggest walking contradiction in the house and I wanted to laugh at how stupid it all was but it came out more like a choked snort because seriously the nerve the absolute balls on him to act all high and mighty when he was the one sneaking in at night smelling like alpha rut and making me feel things I wasn’t supposed to want in the first place. “Si Woo you’re one to talk about disgusting,” I muttered under my breath but loud enough that Mom shot me a look while Dad kept going like none of us had said a word.

The parents started up again talking right over each other Mom saying “no he will not use our son for his stupid behaviors I won’t have it, Ye Jun’s not some tool for your deals” and Dad cutting in with “he is going to do it I believe Ye Jun will make me proud if he just plays it right the Thailand ties alone would double our contracts this year think about it boy it’s not gay it’s strategy you’ve got the omega look for a reason use it.”

Si Woo was arguing louder now, his face all red and veins popping as he waved his arms around. “It’s disgusting Dad, gay stuff like that doesn’t belong here Ye Jun’s not seducing some alpha dude just because he bought a car. What kind of family are we turning into this is wrong on every level. I won’t stand for it.”

I tried to jump in again because my head was spinning with the hypocrisy hitting me harder than the car’s engine ever could and all I could think was how Si Woo could preach this crap with a straight face when he’d been the one bending me over the bathroom counter two nights ago growling in my ear about how good I felt as an omega but I kept my mouth shut on the details because spilling that would blow the whole house apart and instead I just said “guys chill both of you it’s not even like that, Ohm’s my friend my teddy bear guy not some target for deals and anyway I’m not doing it end of story.”

But they didn’t chill Mom was still going “no absolutely not I won’t let you drag him into this your business schemes are one thing but using Ye Jun like some omega prize is another I raised him better than that” while Dad talked right over her smiling even wider now like he could already see the money stacking up. “Ye Jun you see the vision right, if he’s able to seduce Ohm we get everything the relations the contracts the whole package and you’ve got those little omega traits that make it easy the scent the build the way alphas like him go soft around you just lean into it son make your old man proud for once.”

Si Woo’s voice got even louder cutting through all of it his hand already grabbing my arm tight enough that I winced. “Disgusting I’m telling you this gay crap is ruining everything. Ye Jun you better not even consider it I mean what the hell would people say if they found out my stepbrother was out here playing omega seducer for some rich Thai prince just because of a stupid car this is not happening on my watch.”

I felt the pull then Si Woo dragging me toward the stairs while the parents kept yelling downstairs Mom repeating “no you will not use my son for this stupid behaviors I said no” and Dad insisting “he is going to do it believe me, Ye Jun will make me proud just watch the deals will roll in” but Si Woo wasn’t listening to any of them his grip yanking me up the first few steps and his face all twisted up close to mine as he hissed low enough that only I could hear it over the noise still echoing from the foyer.
