Chapter 1: Chapter 1: Reincarnation

Adam was just a young man who worked at an office job for 9 hours a day.

His life was normal besides the fact that his family died in a tragic car accident after coming back from the grocery shop, a drunk driver driving a truck slammed into their car while they stopped at a red light instantly killing them on the spot.

He was at home playing videogames when he got the sudden news of his parents and little sisters deaths, a small amount of inheritance was left behind for him so he was able to live off that money and mature from a young age.

He was able to pass high school and graduate from a good university, he got a job at a small accounting company working for 9 hours a day.

The company has a good amount of money that he earns so he was able to live a very modest life and be able to provide for himself, he spent his free time reading novels and also playing videos games on his laptop.

One day after coming back from doing a nightshift and working overtime to meet his deadlines he came out the company alone since everyone had already left.

“Yawn I’m tired I just want to go back to the apartment and finish the novel I was ready”

He had messy black hair and small bags under his eyes that showed that he was exhausted, he put on headphones and walked towards his apartment since it was pretty close from where he works.

He walked for a good 5 minutes before crossing the road without checking wether the lights were green or red, perhaps it was due to he exhaustion that he was unaware of what was happening around him

“HONK HONK!”

Horns rang from a truck that was coming uphill with great speed, the tired screamed as the driver slammed hard on the brakes. Onlookers yelled people scream but the young man was unaware until the truck was close to him, it’s bright lights flashed onto his face as his life flashed before his eyes.

He truck slammed hard on his body flinging him across the road as his body slammed hard head first on the ground, his skull fractured his bones broken and body limping as the life drained from his body

“Cough cough, I can’t… believe I will die from a truck of all things”

He chuckled to himself as he felt his body giving out his vitality getting weaker by the second he was just a few seconds away from death.

“I died the same way as my family…maybe be I’ll…see them on the other side…”

He said those words as he closed his eyes and drawing his last breath accepting the cold embrace of death and it felt comforting.

“Stand up! You son of a whore!”

A young boy groaned as his body slammed down hard on the ground, he body had small brushes and blood dripping from his mouth

“Tch! Useless just like your mother can’t even take a single punch”

Adam was confused at what was happening his mind was still foggy and his memories were scattered that he couldn’t process what was happening around him

“Don’t ignore me!”

The assailant got ticked off at being ignored as this never happened before and ended up beating Adam until he became unconscious.

“Tch you should just stay down like the worm you are”

The boy who beat Adam until he fainted left the area as the servants found Adams battered body and brought him from to the infirmary for him to get treated, this was normal for them as Adam would get sent to the infirmary each day after getting beaten by Jake the 2nd son of Duke Drakonis one of the strongest Dukes of the human kingdom.

“Ugh my head…where am I?”

He scanned the area finding himself inside a huge room filled with expensive furniture and accessories he was confused at where he was since he only remembers getting hit by a truck and dying until a sharp pain tore through his brain

“Ugh!!”

Memories suddenly came pouring down about the body his currently until he realized that he got reincarnated and only just received the memories of his past life.

“So I got reincarnated huh…as the bastard son too fuck my life”

His name was Adam Dragonis the bastard son of the Duke, from his reclaimed memories he found out that the Duke married his mother over an agreement. She was unknown to him but was rather beautiful but later disappeared when Adam turned 2 years old and his father never told him what happened.

“Sigh, an unknown mother, abusive brother and an uninterested father huh?”

He couldn’t help but sigh at the situation he found himself in, he read about reincarnation from his novels and was able to calm himself down and accepted his situation and wanted to plan his next step.
