The night ended and the morning sun as begun to rise, a golden ray of light has flooded Silford Academy.

Students were rushing to the arena, the delegations were taking their seats, professor’s have begun to to active protective barriers.

The earth started to tremble as the gates to the coliseum opened.

The announcers would project their voices all across the entire academy:

“THE INTER-RACIAL COMPETITION BEGINS!”

Cheers from the stands erupted.

And then the next words that came out the announcer shook the entire battlefield:

“FIRST MATCH OF THE DAY! —HUMANS VS DEMONS!”

Adam stood at the front of class S.

And his opponent Syvor Marno stood at the front of the demon squad.

The tension in the air was so intense that it could crush mountains.

And this battle was going to bring a lot of shock for all whom are present.

In the spectator booths on the human’s side, there were countless superpowers who were watching.

From the Headmaster of Silford Academy however the Vice-Headmaster Emily Bifrost was still not present.

The Head of the Corven Duchy was present, her name was Fiona von Corven a mid SS-rank awakened, she had blue hair and light blue eyes and was wearing a pristine white-silver dress. “Interesting choice of matchups, wouldn’t you agree?”

The Head of The Caelthorn Duchy, Andros von Caelthorn was a man with short jet black hair and piercing red eyes, he had a sharp jawline and was wearing a black suit that was attached with a black long cape. “… interesting indeed.” He was a peak SS-rank awakened.

The Head of the Dragonis Duchy, Pablo von Dragonis another Peak SS-rank awakened. He was a handsome man with long silver hair tied into a ponytail, he has yellow piercing eyes along with a sharp jawline. He wore a violent colored suit and was leaning against his chair. His legs were crossed and his chin was resting on his hand.

Next to him was the Duchess Seraphine von Dragonis, she was a mid ranked S-ranked awakened, her Beauty was both cold and regal, her silver hair was cascading down her shoulders, she had sharp crimson eyes. She wore a regal white dress with silver draconic patterns and she was watching the arena with a cold gaze.

They came with their children Luke, Sidney and Sam von Dragonis.

All of them took their respective seats Infront of their parents. Luke was now an S-ranked awakened already a graduate from the academy same with his sister Sidney who was still at the academy.

Sam on the other hand was a peak B-ranker and his face was filled with cold unrestrained fury when he saw Adam.

Luke and Sidney took notice this and just smirked, they felt like something was going to transpire soon.

The Royal family was also present along with the The first and second prince and the second Princess.

Cedric looked at the arena with an evil grin already anticipating the chaos that was going to to occur soon.

Back To The Arena.

Adam stood at the far end of the arena with with a calm expression, his yellow-golden eyes gleamed with anticipation.

Syvor Manor was in the opposite end, on his left hand was a black sword that was covered with dark-violet like fire.

Both of them looked at each other and were standing 10m away from each other.

“Looks like you won’t be progressing any further.” Syvor sneered.

But Adam didn’t even flinch or respond to the provocation which made syvor click his tongue in frustration.

“BEGIN!”

The announcer shouted and the battle finally began.

Syvor acted first by make a vertical slash, this sent out an arc of dark-violet fire towards Adam, he then started running towards him to cover the distance between them.

Adam saw the attack coming and summoned his sword from his inventory, The sword of bahamut was brimming with energy as it let out a faint hum.

Adam smirked as he made a single swing with his sword and opened up a spatial rift the swallowed the attack, however that wasn’t the end.

The rift reopened behind Syvor as him own attack was sent back towards him, he noticed this and quickly made another vertical slash launching the same attack.

Both moves came into contact with each other and exploded.

BOOM

Dark smoke started to from where the attacks came into contact with other, but that’s when Syvor’s instincts screamed at him about an approaching danger.

He turned back only to find Adam right Infront him flashing a predatory grin.

“What—! He couldn’t finishing his sentence as a fist slammed directly into his face.

BOOM!

The impact shook the arena as we was sent flying, but Adam wasn’t finished as he decided to give him a devilish combo.

Adam launched himself forward and delivered a kick directly on Syvor’s spine that sent him launching mid-air.

He followed this up by kicking the ground leaving small cracks launching himself above, he then delivered a spinning kick directly on Syvor’s stomach.

BOOM!

The attack send him hurling back the the arean and he slammed against it back first, syvor coughed a mouthful full of blood as his pupils went to the back of his head.

Adam decided to finish this off by creating dragon like wings made out wind, he made a single flap and launched himself towards Syvor with astonishing speed.

Adam clenched his right fist and fire began to swirl all around the first, he also added another bonus by combining it with wind increasing it’s destructive strength.

Before he could deliver the punch and slam him down on the arena, Adam’s form vanished in a blink and there he was standing right next to Syvor’s as his body was floating just 60 inches off the ground after the first impact.

“Fiery Tempest Fist.”

Adam connected the punch directly on Syvor’s chest.

CRACK

The sound of bones cracking could be heard as Syvor was sent flying with a torrent of flames.

His body slammed against the protective barrier that was Infront of the Demon Delegations, the impact sent ripples across the barrier but it held on with ease.

Syvor’s unconscious and battered landed outside the arena on the ground with a loud:

THUD!

Steam was coming out his body as medics rushed to his aid, Adam cast one glance at Azazel with walking away with his hands tucked into his pockets.

Azazel noticed this as an act of a challenge and just smirked.

The whole arena was silent because people couldn’t believe what they just witnessed.

Another second they both exchanged moves after that was just a one sided beat down that happened way too fast, the whole battle didn’t even last 10 seconds and it was already over.
