Adam on the other hand, his blood started to boil and it wasn’t in pain.

His instincts wanted nothing but to prove his dominance over the other dragons.

BENEATH THE ACADEMY

It was deep under the academy, it was below the stone, soil and ancient barrier.

It was a gathering of shadows that watched through the blackened crystal screens.

There were twenty robes figured that were kneeling before a massive circular seal, it was pulsing with faint cosmic patterns, there was an ancient restraining array that has held the offsprings and Astral devour for centuries.

He had a low voice, it was distorted and filled with madness.

“The beasts still slumber. But with the inter-racial competition starting… this will be our chance.”

“The first seal has already weakened. When the competition starts, the mana densities will begin to spike.”

“Good… good.” Their leader whispered. “Excellent. Then the unsealing will begin…”

And a single, enormous eye would open beneath the earth—unseen by everyone above.

Hidden deep within the shadows, all across the academy rooftops.

There were cloaked figures that have knelt down, their faces were touching their rooftiles.

The whole Kyrexis cult was watching, with eager expressions.

An elite group had gathered and it’s name was:

The Order of the Withered Star.

Their leader, he was covered in a platinum skull mask with violet-red lines.

The lines were a bit warped showing a serpent.

This was the Shadow-Priest Malak Ruzan, A-ranked awakener and he was observing all of the delegations silently.

“They have gathered,” he muttered. “Demons, Elves, Dwarves and surprisingly… dragons… that’s going to put a small derail in our plans.”

“And the ’Heir’ is also here.”

A lesser cultist stepped forward and bowed.

“Should this be reported to the inner circle? Lord Ruzan?”

“Not necessary,” he said coldly. “We will only follow the predetermined plan. The priority is the seal beneath the academy, it shall weaken while they battle in the tournament… And once the final moon descends. Chaos shall finally descend.”

He then turned his gaze towards the dragon envoy.

“And even the dragon envoy, won’t be able to interfere.”

Back At The Academy

Back to the academy that whole ground was thickening with storm clouds.

Azazel the prince of the demons, was narrowing his eyes at Eryndor the dragon envoy.

Katherine the eleven princess just sighed softly, she was already regretting the future.

“Haa, let me guess?” She muttered. “You two are about to start measuring each other up?”

Azazel smirked. “Is that fear I sense? Little blossom?”

Eryndor just racked his neck. “Weak creatures always seemed to bark the loudest.”

Mana started to surge.

It was a shockwave thay blasted through the whole courtyard, this made the students stumble.

This was Professor Seraphim who exerted all her aura as she stepped between them.

Azazel shuddered the power of a S-rank Peak pressing down on him hard.

Eryndor endured it with his own, as he was also a peak S-rank as well.

“Okay that’s enough! If you want to fight, fight in the arena so your ass beating can be seen worldwide!”

Azazel looked away and scoffed, while Eryndor was unfazed and just made a slight smirk.

This showed that this was far from over.
