Adam moved through the forest his movements were fluid with a clear purpose

The headmaster has given them the locations of the C rank beasts that were in the field

He suddenly came across an opponent during his way and he recognized him as Sam von Dragonis

Sam roared as he brandished his sword it was a C rank artifact and it shows that his mother spared no less to spoil his child

The sword glowed with a fiery red and orange flame that was sam’s affinity fire even though it’s well known his mother’s family is very proficient with it making them amongst the best fire users of the kingdom

“I haven’t unlocked my affinity yet” Adam frowned but wasn’t discouraged

They all lunged a large man with a study frame came in first with a hammer the same size as his body, he slammed into on the ground sending out a crack on the ground and spikes surrounded Adam aiming to trap and impale him

The other two wielded swords but they were also skilled in using magic, they both raised their swords one formed three orbs of water and were hurled towards Sam

The other shaped arrows made of wind the attacks were shot simultaneously while Sam watched with keen focus waiting for the whole situation to pay out

As the attacks came hurling down Adam didn’t move but he had a smirk on his face

A loud boom rang out as the attacks collided with his scales generating smoke around Adam, the others saw the attacks connect and assumed it worked but they then saw his silhouette from within’ the smoke

Adam didn’t give them any time to react his form blurred and moved with precision his movements to hard to keep track

A blood curling scream could be heard as they saw the big sturdy man clutch his chest as a deep cut was seen on his abdomen and blood gushing out

In that instant his form dissipated into blue digital droplets his body vanishing from the area, this was a fail safe provided by the Silford Academy

When a participant received damage that would bypass the protection tokens they would be instantly be transported back to the academy to receive treatment

More screams of pain could be heard as the other two were also teleported away from the exam site leaving only Sam and Adam to face off against each other

Adam didn’t want to just eliminate Sam from the exam but also wanted to make a statement to the whole world

He knew this very exam was being monitored by the nobles, guild masters and instructors of the academy checking their progress

He wouldn’t want to show all his cards yet before the duels and decided to dominate using only his physical strength and kept his cards hidden

Sam was in disbelief Adam defeated his underlings in less than a minute and he couldn’t believe what was happening this wasn’t the Adam who used to grovel beneath his feet

Rage and irritation were seen on his face as it burned a deep red, Sam roared lunging towards Adam his sword shinned brightly with flames growing larger that it illuminated parts of the area and his sword then came crashing down towards Adam

* CLANG!! *

Adam parried the strike once again the flames that surrounded the sword got snuffed out like a lingering small flame

“I grow bored of this”

Adam was bored seeing sam’s attempts his mind was no rational and was only filled with rage and fleeting pride

He moved swiftly maneuvering around Sam and his fist slammed against sam’s chest

* CRACK *

Ribs could be heard breaking and sam coughed out a mouthful of blood as his body was sent hurling across the field

Adams eyes shinned brightly with a yellow and golden glow his form blurred once again a single line would be seen due to his eyes because of how fast he was moving

Arriving before Sam in an instantly he swing his sword delivering precise strikes and jabs on his joints and shoulders

Deep cuts formed around his body as Sam was executing the strikes with fast precision sam’s cries could be heard throughout the forest even though there was no one to see

“With this, I’m putting an end to this farce”

His hands turned into claws reinforced with scales with a single punch towards his chest the last of his bones cracked and before Adam to strike again he was teleported towards the academy

The spectators were seen in the booth watching the whole confrontation play out

From Adam being corned by the 4 nobles and to him turning the tides by dominating them purely from physical prowess alone

They saw everything from when he shrugged off their attacks like they were nothing to him dismantling each one of them with absolute precision

And they also saw the brutality of when he was battling Sam from the way he swatted his attacks like they were nothing

Those who spoke were the guild leaders of the crimson guild and the sparrow guild. They were the Top 1 and top 2 guilds respectively

All presentatives then all looked at Duke Dragonis as this was his second son whom just got humiliated like that by the son he exiled

The Duke on the other hand looked calm but on the inside he was disappointed at Sam and curious as how Adam got stronger

When all this was happening the king however was curious about the boy called Adam as all the rumors he heard that he wasn’t talented just because he hadn’t yet awakened and also received his affinity

Vice-headmaster Penelope was intrigued she was the youngest person to reach S+ rank at the age of 20 and one with a lot of potential to reach SS rank and even SSS rank

“What an interesting young man, I might just take him as my discipline. What do you think old man?”

She looked at Dave the only person who hasn’t talked ever since this conversation started, his aura radiated with dominance he still didn’t say anything and just glanced at the room as Adam was moving through the forest
