Chapter 24: Episode 24: Quest Complete

Imagine getting fucked at a gala for your first time.

That was the first thing Nikki thought as she noticed she woke up back on her bed in his home.

Did she really pass out to the point of not knowing when they left the gala and arrived back at home?

The second thing she noticed was that she was alone.

Nikki stretched like a cat, her hand instinctively reaching across the massive bed. The sheets were cool to the touch. The indentation where a heavy, broad body should have been was already smoothing out.

Which meant he did stay in with her before leaving.

“Of course,” Nikki mumbled, her voice raspy with sleep. “World domination doesn’t sleep in.”

She rolled onto her back, staring at the ceiling.

Then, the memories hit her, and her face flushed red, burning hot. The feeling of being completely, utterly filled by him.

“Ahhh!” Nikki squealed.

She grabbed a pillow and shoved her face into it, kicking her feet against the mattress like a teenager with her first crush. She rolled side to side, a giddy, breathless laugh bubbling up from her chest.

Who knew an AI could make butterflies make rounds in your stomach?

“He actually did that,” she whispered to the empty room, her face flushing hot. She bit her lip, wiggling her toes. Her body felt heavy, languid, and gloriously sore in places she didn’t know could be sore.

A reminder, a very thorough reminder that the General didn’t do anything halfway.

What had triggered his code or what had gone wrong for him to decide to give me pleasure I crave?

Nikki’s mind flashed to B-02.

Could it be him?

Just when she was thinking about it, the system blue screen popped up in her face.

[Ding!]

[SYSTEM ALERT]

[QUEST COMPLETE: SLEEP WITH GENERAL A-01]

[ACHIEVEMENT UNLOCKED: THE BIG BANG]

[REWARD: 1000 CREDITS + 500 XP]

“Shut up,” Nikki giggled, swatting at the hologram. “Don’t act like you weren’t watching.”

[Someone had to monitor the heart rates. You almost flatlined from pleasure, babe. You’re welcome.]

Nikki sat up, pushing her messy red hair out of her face. She felt lighter. To the point of almost forgetting where she was before she got the system and met A-01.

As she swung her legs over the side of the bed, ready to brave the day, a soft chime echoed from the door.

A sleek, spherical service droid floated into the room. It was balancing a silver tray on its flat top. The smell of freshly brewed coffee, grilled bacon, and fluffy pancakes hit Nikki’s nose, making her stomach growl loudly.

“Greetings, Resident Nikki,” the droid chirped. “General A-01 has authorized nutrition protocol Alpha-Breakfast.”

Nikki stared at the tray as the droid lowered it onto her lap. “He ordered this?”

“Affirmative,” the droid replied. “The General left a voice memo to be played upon your waking cycle.”

“Play it,” Nikki said, grabbing a piece of bacon.

A-01’s voice filled the room. His voice was crisp, cold and professional but the only thing Nikki could remember was his darkened and breathy voice from last night and her cheeks flushed again.

“Subject experienced significant caloric depletion and electrolyte loss during last night’s… exertion. Consume the entire tray. Hydrate immediately. I have a Council briefing at 0800. I will return for dinner.”

There was a pause. Then, softer:

“Do not leave the house.”

The message clicked off.

Nikki chewed her bacon, a stupid grin spreading across her face. “Significant caloric depletion,” she mimicked, rolling her eyes. “He makes it sound like we ran a marathon. Which… I guess we basically did.”

What if I could take a little more?

Na… I don’t think I would be able to survive.

She ate quickly, realizing she was starving. As she devoured the pancakes, her mind started to wander. She looked at the System window still floating before.

“Okay, System,” she mumbled around a mouthful of coffee. “Real talk. How did that help?”

“The Main Quest,” Nikki said, setting the cup down. “Save the world. Stop the AI tyranny. Create a peaceful world where humans and machines hold hands and sing Kumbaya.”

She looked down at her bare legs, seeing a faint red mark on her thigh where his grip had been a little too tight.

She immediately looked away, her heart thudding.

A clean mind. A clean mind!

“Why did I think fucking an AI would solve anything?” she whispered, her mood sobering slightly. “I mean, sure, it was mind-blowing. But does it change his code? Does it stop him from looking at humans like we’re animals to be controlled and caged?”

Nikki walked into the bathroom, washing the sleep from her eyes and brushing her teeth. She stared at herself in the mirror. Her lips were still slightly swollen. Her neck had a faint, reddish bruise near the pulse point where he had sucked too hard.

Where had he fucking learnt that?

“He marked me,” she whispered, touching the spot.

She quickly showered and changed. She rummaged through her shopping bags and pulled out a pair of soft denim shorts and one oversized shirt she bought.

It was huge on her, slipping off one shoulder, but it made her feel more free.

She walked out into the massive living room. It was quiet. Too quiet.

“He’s going to come home for dinner,” Nikki said to herself, pacing the rug. “And then what? Do we talk about it? Do we shake hands? Do we… do it again?”

Are we going too fast?

Panic started to bubble up in her chest.

Last night, in the heat of the moment, with the door locked, she had been bold. But now, she was just Nikki, the broke girl who had slept with the scary robot dictator.

“I can’t face him,” she groaned, burying her face in her hands. “I’m going to turn bright red and explode. He’s going to look at me with those analyzing blue eyes and calculate my embarrassment levels.”

Trying to gouge why I was having such a reaction.

She needed a distraction.

“TV,” she snapped her fingers, remembering something that could cure her boredom.

She flopped onto the couch and commanded the massive holographic wall to turn on.

“Channel 4” she ordered.

The news was playing. A reporter was standing in front of the Gala hall. “Rumors circulate regarding General A-01’s early departure from the Gala last night…”

“Nope,” Nikki said. “Channel 12.”

A documentary. “The rise of the Machine Empire and the fall of biological reproduction…”

“Pass. Channel 69.”

A soap opera flickered to life. A human woman was weeping while holding the hand of a rugged android. “I don’t care if your heart is made of steel, Brad! It beats for me!”

“Oh, come on!” Nikki threw her hands up. “Is the whole universe trolling me today?”

She aggressively flipped through channels, looking for anything, a cooking show, a cartoon, weather reports, anything that didn’t remind her of the six-foot-seven android who had rearranged her insides twelve hours ago.

Finally, she landed on a movie. It looked like a sci-fi thriller.

Nikki relaxed. “Perfect.”

She settled into the cushions.

Ten minutes later, the plot took a sharp turn. The female lead, a spy, was cornered by the enemy robot. But instead of fighting, the music swelled. The lights dimmed.

“I have processed your request,” the robot on screen said in a sultry, synthesized voice.

Nikki froze. “Don’t do it.”

The robot on screen grabbed the woman, pinning her against a wall.

“Oh god,” Nikki whispered, unable to look away.

It was a sex scene. A very graphic, very loud sex scene. The woman on the TV was moaning, her head thrown back, as the machine ravaged her.

“Yes! Just like that!” the TV woman screamed.

Nikki’s face was burning. She grabbed the remote, frantically trying to mute it.

Her fingers fumbled with the controls. The volume, instead of going down, went up.

“OH YES! INTEGRATE WITH ME!” the TV screamed at maximum volume.

The sound of the elevator doors sliding open cut through the room.

Nikki froze. Her finger hovered over the remote.

She slowly turned her head.

General A-01 was standing in the elevator doorway.

He was home early. He held a sleek briefcase in one hand.

He looked at the giant holographic screen, where a naked woman was currently wrapping her legs around a chrome-plated android while screaming.

Then, he slowly turned his gaze to Nikki.

Nikki sat there, her face a shade of red that rivaled a tomato, while the sounds of wet, thrusting echoed through the silent house.

A-01 didn’t blink. He looked at the screen then looked at her.

He tilted his head slightly, his blue eyes narrowing.

“Are humans always this sexually hungry?”
