“Anyway, just follow me for now. I have to confirm something.” Dante ordered as he started moving toward a random tunnel, Ruby following closely behind him.

When he stood before the first tunnel, he saw that the arrows of the compass were pointing at the tunnel, as if something was pulling them there.

“That’s not the right or the best path.” Dante shook his head before moving to the next tunnel.

Ruby’s fortune side had the arrows that led to the opportunity, which meant that his small misfortune side led to the opposite direction. And if the fortune side led to only one direction, then everything else was the opposite!

So, Dante decided to create his own arrows and connect them to her misfortune, then he’d only have to find the tunnel that would have the least attraction to the arrows.

From her perception, Dante had simply walked around while holding something invisible and suddenly decided the best tunnel.

She already suspected that it was related to the “shadow” compass, but she wasn’t stupid enough not to notice that Dante intentionally ignored her question.
