Her green snake-like eyes were staring at the ceiling, yet her brain was processing so much information at once.

Six of them were in the five special cells, while the seventh didn’t seem dangerous enough to be put there.

The giant fell silent, unable to say anything. He couldn’t break her point.

The demoness poured herself a cup of wine and took a sip casually: “Unfortunately, for now, we have only two options. The first is to keep him like that and try to find a counter for whatever he uses. But we have tried several times already and I can’t ensure that this time will be different. Even with all my eyes, I never caught a movement from him.”

“Our second option is to just let him… leave. We free him and all the anomalies and let them wander in the Abyss. What do you think we should do?”

“Is that even a question?” The giant sighed: “We can’t free them. That would be a direct defiance of Lord Valor’s orders and authority. We can’t free a prisoner who was brought here by Valor himself!”
