In the camp, Elizabeth, Mira, and Michael looked at the meal in front of them with wide eyes, saliva dropping from their mouths.

“Stop crying and eat silently.” Dante hissed, but no one thought that he was truly angry.

While everyone was eating, Dante felt a sudden painful strike of headache.

Dante nodded—and ignored the last part—before using his ability.

After a moment, he was replaced by Fafnir, who just accepted his fate and walked toward Elizabeth in surrender.

Michael looked at Elizabeth and Fafnir with a heavy heart.

He had the determination to grow stronger, but he didn’t know how. What was he supposed to do as a start? Some pushups wouldn’t make a big difference now.

’Maybe after this war, I’ll have enough resources to grow stronger and reach the peak of Rank 2!’ Michael’s eyes gleamed with hope.
