My mind was hazy, as if I had been thrown into a deep sleep. After activating Berserk Wolf, my brain had shut down. My consciousness felt like it was sinking deeper and deeper into the ocean, being dragged further into the abyss.

’Rick! Rick!’ A voice called my name. I recognized that voice as Sarah’s.

’Rick, wake up!’ her voice called out to me, filled with nervousness.

Sarah wouldn’t stop calling me, no matter what. Maybe it was because of that persistence that my eyelids finally opened.

When I opened my eyes, I was lying in a bed, and a girl was right in front of me. After so many days of always waking up with a woman by my side, I had kind of gotten used to this kind of situation.

“I-I remember everything…” I said in a tired voice.

“That Berserk Wolf of yours is quite a trump card. Too bad it completely exhausts the user—not to mention the berserk state and the mana consumption. So be more careful when using it, okay?” Freya said.

“I see,” I said to her, and then it hit me. “Sarah and the others—are they all right? I didn’t attack them or anything while in berserk mode, did I?”

“I think it’s about time for you and your perverted mind to return to your body,” Freya said in an annoyed voice.

“Perverts? You’re the one who threw me into a girl’s room while we were both unconscious,” I called Freya out, though I kept looking at the girl beside me.

“Especially you, Brandish. I know what you did while watching Richard doing the deed with the girls.”

“L-Lady Freya!”

“Eh?” I was surprised by what Freya said, but I didn’t have time to ask for sordid details.

The goddess snapped her fingers. And in that instant, the room I was in disappeared, and I found myself surrounded by darkness once again.
