Chapter 163: Killing Temptation

A young woman wore a white nightgown that revealed her underwear—if she were wearing any.

The sleepwear clung to her body, becoming almost transparent where the fabric touched Leila’s skin. Her pink nipples were clearly visible.

I was caught off guard. I should have guessed that bold girl would try something like this. For someone who had already tried to take a bath naked with me, lying down with me under her parents’ roof could be her way of getting closer to me.

Maybe she thought I would smile when I saw her face, because as soon as she noticed I wasn’t excited, she gave me a confused look.

“Miss, I am a man committed to all seven of my wives,” I said firmly.

“Really?” she said in a teasing voice. “Then there’s nothing stopping you from having an eighth, right?”

Leila didn’t want to listen to me. Her desire to have me inside her couldn’t be stopped by anything I said. But to save my shaft from death, I needed to deny her.

“Huh?” Leila was surprised by something happening behind me, towards my bed.

They must have slipped under my bed after I said goodnight and went to talk with Leila’s father.

“Couldn’t you have talked to me like normal people?” I asked.

“Sorry, but if I had taken a conventional approach, our friend Leila here might have gotten what she wanted,” she said with a smile. Erina struck a pose and then declared in a pompous manner, “We are here as your humble Valkyries to protect our Master’s shaft from cunning women.”

“C-Cunning? Me?!” Leila snapped at the comment.

Justine shrugged. “Despite Erina’s exaggerated way of putting it, I don’t have a better adjective for you. Sneaking into the room of a man who’s already committed—do you have a death wish?”

“A-Are you going to kill me or something?” Leila asked Justine. Despite her defiant tone, I could tell she was afraid of her.

“Of course not. What you did is unforgivable, but thanks to you, we can rest in this comfy house, so I don’t intend to hurt you physically.”

“What?”

“Your dad knows that you hit on guys you barely know,” Justine said sharply. “If you don’t want him to find out, I suggest you go back to your room.”

Leila stared at Justine with burning rage. It certainly wasn’t something she wanted—her image as the perfect daughter being tarnished. But despite her frustration, Leila took a deep breath.

“Fine,” she gave in, but before leaving, she added, “If you change your mind, you know where my room is, Rick~”

When we were alone, Erina said, “What a troublesome woman.”

“I don’t think you’re the best person to say that, Erina,” Justine said while cleaning her glasses and putting them back on. “In any case, I don’t think you’ll have any problems now.”

Despite what she said, Erina stepped closer to me, placing her hands on my chest. Her beautiful wine-colored hair was tied in a messy bun, and her amber eyes were fixed on me.

“Or maybe we could—Wah!!” Erina began in a sexy voice, but she suddenly got startled.

Justine had grabbed her by the collar and was pulling her away from me.

“No way. You know Rick can’t have sex with you, right?” Justine said.

Erina looked frustrated, and Justine didn’t seem any different; she just knew it was the right thing to do, even against her own desires.

I took a step towards them.

“Rick?” Justine was startled.

“Just a goodnight kiss won’t break the rules,” I said, my face only a few inches from Justine’s.

I gave Justine a gentle kiss on her lips, caressing her in a passionate kiss. I could feel Justine’s hands pushing me away from her body.

“I-I think that’s enough, otherwise I won’t be able to hold back,” she said, her face bright red.

“You’re right,” I agreed with a smile.

“That’s not fair!” Erina said, puffing up her cheeks in protest. “I want a kiss too!”

I laughed at Erina but did as she asked and gave her a kiss equal to Justine’s. But when our lips parted, she didn’t seem satisfied.

“Your kiss is so sweet, Rick. Maybe five more would be enough for me to have a peacef—Waaah!” And there went Erina being dragged away again.

“Good night, Rick. See you tomorrow,” the girl with glasses said to me with a gentle smile, dragging Erina across the floor as she cried along the way.

When she closed the door, I was sure I was truly alone now. The only sound I could hear was the owls hunting their prey in the night.

I lay down on the bed, and this time I had no trouble falling asleep, probably because all that commotion had drained what little energy I had left. I opened my eyes when I heard the goddess’s voice.

“Finally, you’ve arrived, Rick,” Freya said in a mischievous tone. “Are you enjoying the mission I gave you?”
