Chapter 85: Drain Sword

I was dead tired. Maybe it was because of the trip, my conversation with Joseph, or perhaps the wonderful night of sex I had with Sarah. Either way, my body had no trouble falling asleep.

That night I had a strange dream. I dreamed that Sarah and Alicia were having another argument, for some silly reason that I couldn’t understand, and whatever the cause was, the two of them started pulling on my arms as if they were a rope, like they were competing in a tug-of-war.

I complained to both of them that my arms were hurting, but they were so busy playing that they kept pulling on my limbs. It reached a point where my arms felt as if they were made of noodles, stretching like strands of wheat dough in opposite directions.

The dream became even more bizarre when Erina and Justine appeared, and then my two legs were pulled as well, each by a different girl, until they became as long as my arms. My bones and muscles ached as if their length was being forced to grow.

I saw Diane in front of me, looking down at my face. I was happy, because Diane could help me get out of that situation, but to my surprise she grabbed my head, and my neck began to stretch just like the rest of my body.

When my body was about to split apart, I woke up with a displeased expression as the sunlight coming through the window hit my face.

“What kind of shit dream was that?” I muttered to myself. There was only one other person in the room with me, the red-haired girl lying naked, her body covered by the bedsheet.

’She’s usually pretty excited about exploring dungeons. Maybe she got really tired from last night.’

I wanted to let Sarah sleep a little longer, but there was still a lot to do that day. Discuss a plan of action, talk to her about Erina and Justine, and deal with Alicia’s bad mood before it escalates.

’Oh, right. Brandish said I received some kind of reward because of Sarah’s Affection level.’

I noticed the bedsheets moving. The beautiful girl beside me began to get up, her red strands flowing over her shoulder like a waterfall, her expression still tired.

“Good morning, Sarah. Sorry, I ended up waking you.” I said to her, even with that strange voice. I didn’t feel any pain, nor did it seem like I was sick.

“Ah, Rick, good morni— Eh? EEEEEEEEH!!!!!” Sarah suddenly started screaming loudly. The shock she felt when she looked at my face was so great that she fell off the bed.

“Sarah, are you okay?” I asked, worried about her. The naked girl rubbed her own head after hitting it.

“I’ll be fine, but Rick, what happened to you?” Sarah said to me in a nervous voice.

“What do you mean by that? Is there something on my face?” I asked, confused by her question.

“It’s not that there’s something on your face, your whole face is different.” Sarah said, walking toward the bag where she kept her personal belongings. “Look.”

Sarah handed me the same mirror she lent me on the day I transmigrated to this world, a mirror with a coral dusk border decorated with little pink flowers. I looked at my reflection in the mirror, expecting to see a K*rito-like appearance, but that was not the case.

Hurried knocks could be heard at our door, and soon after Diane’s voice followed, “Sarah, are you all right?”

Diane’s voice sounded worried and full of urgency.

“Rick is…”

“Is something wrong with Rick?” Alicia asked, concerned about my safety.

“What could it be?” There was another voice, which I recognized as Erina’s.

“Step away from the door,” Diane said. I had no doubt she was about to break it down.

“Eh? Diane wait—” Sarah tried to warn the assassin, but it was already too late. With a powerful impact, Diane smashed the door of the inn room open. The door fell awkwardly to the floor.

“Eh? Rick? Is that you?”

“H-Huh.” I nodded.

“Why did you have to destroy our door?” Sarah asked, clearly irritated, trying to cover her body with our bedsheet. “We’re not even dressed yet!”

“I thought you were in danger. Huh, forgive me, Rick,” Diane said embarrassed, her gaze avoiding my exposed manhood. I couldn’t say the same about the other three girls, who had already seen me naked.

The size of my shaft was familiar to Alicia, Erina, and Justine, but that wasn’t what they were staring at in disbelief.

“Rick, you…” Erina tried to say, but stopped halfway.

Alicia spoke, as if finishing the other girl’s sentence, “Look like a prince.”
