He retreated along the passage into the innermost stone chamber, the room where he had originally prepared to perform the secret technique.

Sandean pursued closely.

While furious, he also hesitated.

“You’ve abandoned your identity as a Trilobite Man. You’ve become a monster.”

Haru had abandoned his Trilobite Man body to become a fire demon, a strange life form composed of gas.
