Then they brought the wood back to build their own homes.

Their dwellings were simple structures with only roofs and bamboo walls, providing basic shelter from the rain.

The houses were tall, usually accommodating ten to twenty snake people coiled together to rest and work, forming a large family.

The snake people obtained their main food through farming and used fire to cook their food.

They also built enclosures with wood to raise a two-toothed beast species as their primary source of meat.

In their leisure time, they occasionally fished and hunted.

Although these snake people were mere mortals, while she had embarked on the path of myth.

She found herself believing that the Mother of Life, Shelly, was indeed the creator of all living things in this world. A deity who could command world-devouring beasts to create Ruhe Beast Island, a great being capable of creating various life forms and intelligent species at will.

She also saw the murals in the cave, reading the passages praising the Snake Mother and the deity.

She looked at the story in the murals of the Snake Mother undergoing four trials, seeing how the snake people received blessings from the deity.

She also learned of Snake Mother Sermos’s final fate.

Punished by God for killing the winged people, she became a serpent monster in the City of Life.

The Blood Progenitor felt no sympathy for Snake Mother Sermos’s fate; what interested her were the winged people.

With these words, the Blood Progenitor transformed into a streak of blood-red light. She shot upwards, spiraling around the mountain as she ascended.

Finally, she penetrated through the cloud layer and arrived at the City of Life.

She saw this majestic and grand city, saw the magnificent and imposing Temple of Life.

She also saw the Tower of Heaven that the snake people had built for the Mother of Life.

She saw the giant serpent monster coiled in the city, who unleashed a terrifying power and aura as it gazed towards the sky, watching the Blood Progenitor.

Its eyes were filled only with madness, rejecting all ordinary life that entered this place.

“Hiss!”

The serpent monster Sermos let out a hiss, instantly dispersing and tearing apart the clouds in the sky, a terrifying light penetrating through the sea of clouds and piercing the heavens.

Under her writhing body, this majestic city seemed to have become much smaller.

Allowing her to truly become a being of Life Ability.

When that day came, it would be the moment she regained her will and wisdom.

As an ability user who had embarked on the mythical path of Life Ability, there were few in this world who understood its power better than her.

The Blood Progenitor slowly descended into the City of Life, approaching the serpent monster.

She was curious about the story of the Mother of Life and Sermos, as it seemed this supreme deity hadn’t truly abandoned Sermos.

“So, the Sovereign of Life ultimately forgave Snake Mother Sermos.”

The Blood Progenitor ascended the steps of the Temple of Life. Before entering the temple, she saw numerous murals on the outer corridors and pillars, all recording accounts of the Mother of Life, Shelly.

Few had set foot here besides Snake Mother Sermos, so even the snake people knew little about what was carved here.

The Blood Progenitor was one of the few who saw these murals.

Finally, she stopped in front of one particular mural.
