The massive, imposing Beast Magic City perched atop the mountain range. Its dark, cold gates slowly opened, gradually revealing three figures behind them.

A ferocious crawler beast, a tall snake person, and a little girl.

Clearly, both the vicious crawler and the tall snake person were afraid of the little girl at this moment, not daring to even glance at her.

With their limited intelligence and knowledge, they didn’t understand concepts like flattery or pleasing others. They didn’t even grasp the concept of God.

The snake person followed behind, slithering along with her tail while holding an umbrella to shield Shelly from the sun.

Shelly was preparing to tour her domain and territory with her mount and servant. After all, the seven Ruhe beasts slumbering beneath the ground were her servants, and this entire island was constructed from the power emanating from the Ruhe beasts’ bodies.

Without a doubt, this place was Shelly’s domain.

Shelly raised her broken stick and shouted with “majestic vigor.”

“Forward!”

“Land Dragon!”

She had even given this crawler beast a name, calling it the Land Dragon.

Although, apart from its fierce head, it didn’t seem to have much in common with dragons.

It crawled close to the ground and wasn’t particularly fast, nor was it especially powerful in combat.

The Land Dragon had barely left the city when it lost control and crawled down the wrong path, heading towards a side road instead of the downhill path.

Shelly was angry.

She raised the broken stick in her hand to frighten the Land Dragon, causing it to flatten itself against the ground, motionless for a long while.

The snake person wasn’t faring much better. Her umbrella was tilted at odd angles, swaying left and right with her body movements, serving no real purpose.

What was meant to be a dignified inspection had turned into a comical farce.

Yet, simple and crude as it was, Shelly had practiced this routine with the Land Dragon and snake person many times within the Beast Magic City.

After three or four more attempts, they finally managed to descend from the mountain.

The inspection team moved through the territory with “great dignity,” but unfortunately, there was nothing at the foot of the mountain – no forests, no creatures, just bare rocks.

There was neither scenery to admire nor cheering crowds.

In the end, Shelly just circled the mountain once before returning.

The Land Dragon rested at the base of the temple, while the snake person secretly ate in a corner. It was a snack Shelly had brought from the God’s Realm and just rewarded her with.

In the temple, Shelly rested her chin on her hand, bored.

“How foolish!” she muttered.

Shelly glanced at the female snake person eating below and said disapprovingly, “You can’t work well, but you sure know how to eat.”

The snake person couldn’t understand what Shelly was saying and just stared at her blankly.

The snake person was much less intelligent than Shelly had imagined. Although she had a brain structure similar to that of the Trilobite people, her intelligence was comparable to that of a wild beast.

She couldn’t learn language at all and understood only a few emotions.

Shelly had considered granting her some power, but while her bloodline could bestow great strength, it couldn’t give wisdom to every individual of a species.

At this moment, a phrase echoed in her mind.

She couldn’t recall the scene, but just hearing the voice, she knew it was something God had once said.

“The Life Ability might be suitable for creating a group of incredibly powerful individuals, but it’s not suited for mass-producing life forms with ordinary intelligence.”

Even if they would turn to dust in history, perhaps these memories would transform into fragmented dreams carried to the star sea of the Dream Realm.

From all corners of the world, endless streams of silver light converged, gathering into God’s Moon.

The power of God’s Moon surged, its aura expanding layer by layer.

At this moment, Shelly stood atop God’s Moon, overlooking the entire world.

Engulfed in silver light, she was stunned.

She had only intended to knock off a piece of God’s Grace Stone, how had it caused such a commotion?

She touched God’s Moon again, wondering, “How did it suddenly come out?”

The moment God’s Moon appeared, dramatic changes also erupted on Beast Island.

It was from an unimaginably distant time ago, when God Yinsai had held her hand and muttered to her:

“Just a prisoner trapped in the cage of time.”

Those light particles entered the female snake person’s body, gradually converging in her brain.

“Even though the Trilobite people are extinct, their legacy will live on through your race and all races with higher intelligence.”

A remarkable transformation began within the female snake person’s body. Her eyes shifted from dull to bright and alert.

Her consciousness and thoughts coalesced into light, possessing a wondrous power.

The Wisdom Ability reappeared in the snake people race. They inherited the brain structure of the Trilobite people and their power.

Shelly didn’t grant the female snake person too much power, as she wasn’t sure how much power this fragile creature could withstand. If she died from being unable to handle it, it would be troublesome.

After all, Shelly didn’t need her to be extremely powerful, but rather to serve as a foundation for creating an intelligent race.

Shelly put away the God’s Grace Stone and carefully examined the changes within the female snake person’s body.

Sensing the light of thought bursting from within the female snake person, that ability to communicate through consciousness, she confirmed her success.

Shelly stamped her foot, and all the tendrils retreated into the black shadow beneath her feet.

Shelly crouched in front of her and whispered in her ear.

“Can you speak now?”

The female snake person didn’t open her mouth, but the power of conscious thought was transmitted to Shelly’s mind.

It was a somewhat muddled consciousness but carried a sense of curiosity, like a newborn life that had just hatched and was observing the world from a different perspective.

Although the female snake person wasn’t newly born, possessing higher intelligence and complex emotions was equivalent to rebirth for her.

She and her species had leaped from the bottom of the food chain to become beings capable of competing for the protagonist role of an era.

Shelly tried once again to teach the female snake person to speak, pointing at herself.

“I am… the King of Beasts.”

“Welcome to this world.”

“My children!”

A brand new intelligent species appeared in this world.

Atop the temple, Shelly also watched the birth of these new lives.

She suddenly raised her head to look at the sky, her gaze seeming to penetrate into the Dream Realm.

Was the light of God’s Moon shining a bit brighter?—

In the depths of Beast Island, submerged in dark waters, a huge red crystal was embedded. Upon closer inspection, one would find that an entire island was frozen within this red crystal.

Within the island were a lighthouse broken in two, ruined castles, and empty ritual workshops.

However, unlike the monsters, the Scarlet Apostle didn’t have the Eye of Mutation, and her transformation over these years was completely different from theirs.

Yet she had far surpassed the threshold of entering mythology.

But in some ways, she was like the monsters; once her power exceeded a certain limit, it became uncontrollable.

That power merged with the earth and stones, becoming part of Beast Island, jointly constructing this unprecedented entity with the monsters.

The Scarlet Apostle had also come here along with the Ruhe beasts at the call of the Mother of Life’s horn, but she had clearly been asleep for too long and had forgotten how to wake up.

A smooth, marble-white bone hand flickered dimly, with symbols representing truth and myth on its back.

Through this symbol, consciousness could penetrate into an unknowable place.

One could see a giant door hidden in endless darkness, bound by layers of chains.

This giant door was already decayed and nearly collapsed, but under the power of myth, it desperately maintained its last bit of strength.

Everything from the past will eventually return.

No one knows what sparks will fly when they clash with everything in this era, what changes will occur.
