She controlled the mythic gate to break free from the Abyss’s grip, but in doing so she could no longer cross the Gate of Spirituality as easily.

She assumed control of the Gate of Spirituality’s power, becoming part of the gate itself.

In the time before the Lord of Radiance truly returned, she was effectively the Lord of Radiance.
