Uriel nodded slowly. “True,” she replied. “Which is why you are going to recreate his level of power.”

Their eyes widened again at hearing that. The sheer audacity of such a statement left them momentarily speechless.

Uriel then added with complete seriousness in her voice as she looked directly at Aiden.

“You, the Black Dragon, will have to become the Creator.”

Syqora immediately shook his head. “That’s impossible,” he said flatly.

Uriel turned toward him. “Yes, that would be the case before Thyrak had somehow gained a power that let him contain the power of the other dragons.”

She paused before continuing.

“At first when that happened, we angels in Ah’Me had concerns about what it meant for the balance of existence itself.”

Syqora frowned slightly as he recalled those events from long ago.

“But I remember you coming to me after with those same concerns, and I explained it was only due to some mysterious magic that mage used from a long time ago.”

“It was originally meant to simply pass Thyrak’s essence to humans, but we didn’t know it could eventually be used to house the essence of other dragons as well.”

Uriel nodded in acknowledgment.

“Yes, and I told you we’ve never been able to locate this mage of yours who was able to create such powerful magic.”

Aiden then cut in suddenly.

“The Architect,” he said.

Uriel turned toward him and nodded once more. “Yes, if that’s what you call him. That being who created the means for Thyrak to hold the other essence. We’ve never been able to find him in this universe.”

Syqora spoke up again then.

“And you angels declared him one of the most wanted threats to the universe since then.”

Aiden said nothing about the fact that he possessed a key that would lead him directly to the maker of the system if he chose to use it someday.

He waited to hear all of it.

Uriel continued speaking then, with her tone growing more urgent now as she pressed forward with her explanation.

“The point I’m trying to make here now is this; after such a long time passed, even we ourselves stopped bothering about it, even when the Black Dragon gained Cronyssia’s time authority on top of everything else.”

She paused deliberately before adding:

“But when he broke this rule by using Checkpoint… that was when our concerns returned tenfold.”

She gestured toward Aiden specifically now as she spoke her next words;

“The only one who can break the Oldest One’s restrictions is Him. But in your case? Someone who could possibly become Him.”

Thyron stepped forward then with disbelief written across her face.

“This is absurd,” she said sharply.

Uriel shook her head and still continued speaking towards Aiden, “I understand how this could be seen as absurb, but you see what Michael isn’t telling you is this: asides the bias, he sees you as more of a threat than Samael because of that very reason.”

She let that statement settle first before adding:

“Which is why they would rather destroy this erroneous timeline with all of you in it than have to deal with Samael directly themselves. Because to them? You are the one who has the most chance to become Him… more than my brother Samael does.

The other dragons were terribly shocked with what they had just heard. The implications of Uriel’s words settled over them and for a long moment, no one spoke.

Aiden then broke the silence.

“From what I understand, given where you’re driving at,” he began.

“I would be able to become something close to what the Oldest One was if I am able to take in the rest of the essence from the other dragons?”

Uriel nodded once, firmly.

“Yes, precisely,” she confirmed.

Aiden frowned deeply then, and his expression shifted into something troubled.

“First off, you can’t force them to make that type decision as that would mean their ends, and even if they did, it still would not be possible,” he said.

“From what I know, the Oldest One had eight authorities total. Seven were given to the dragons individually, and then transcendence, which is practically embedded within everyone and everything else in this world except us dragons.”

He paused, then his voice took on a sharper edge.

“Are you suggesting we kill everyone in this world and take back all the authority? That’s exactly what Samael intends to do already. What makes me any different from him if I do that?”

Uriel shook her head quickly, raising one hand as if to stop that line of thinking immediately.

“No,” she said firmly.

“The goal is not for you to become exactly like the Creator Himself. Reaching such absolute levels would not be possible, even for Samael, who can absorb transcendence away from people.”

She paused before continuing.

“But perhaps we can create a version of that power that is close enough. Close enough would be able to defeat Samael and end all of this.”

Aiden’s red eyes narrowed slightly.

“How?” he asked.

Uriel’s then said, “The relics.”

She gestured slightly as she explained further.

“The relics are made from the body parts of the Creator Himself. And in truth, they contain just as much transcendence fragments as we angels possess inherently.”

Uriel continued speaking.

“Currently, all the relics within Ah’Me are accounted for, especially since Michael found out I was the one who gave you the lock relic,”

she glanced briefly toward Syqora, before adding, “But there’s one that isn’t accounted for.”

Aiden replied immediately.

“The Holy Grail.”
