He wanted more gardens, he wanted his weapons, equipment, and more of those repellents so he could go farther and forage more!

And so, for most of the night (he asked the goblins to rest already, though they insisted on helping him out for a few more hours), they made tons of jerky as well as meals that could be sold to the guests on a later day!

The next day, the mercenaries were set to leave early, before the crack of dawn. Because Finn stayed up late to handle the meat well and earn money, he wasn’t able to wake up to see them off.

Fortunately, he had already prepared their meal before he fell asleep just a few hours prior.

The previous night, they made a request to eat the same thing they had the previous breakfast—the thornroot flat bread and shredded meat. They also asked if they could take some to pack because they were quite convenient to eat on the road. They promised to eat it nearer the safe zones so even if they attracted beasts, it wouldn’t be a number they would struggle to fight with.

The lunchboxes were made of wood by Tumble. They were relatively decent. Though he still hadn’t received the carpentry skills, the system judged him to have this talent, and Finn could see why.

This was his treat, also because most of the meat he got was from them. He also added jerky as well as some crisps to add to their food.

“This looks so good…” Aaron said, checking out their lunchboxes after eating breakfast. Would he look too childish if he ate them all?

Zach, on the other hand, stared at his room door before shifting his attention to his favorite critter ever, Pang.

“He’s asleep, huh?” Zachary asked, looking at the Panda who was sending them off. It looked cute as it just sat on the front desk counter and stared at them.

He kneaded its head. It felt nice.

Ren shook his head with a smile, though he ended up patting the Panda’s head as well. “Well, tell the Innkeeper we’re heading out and thanks for everything. We will visit again soon.”

Finn, who was half-asleep, was partially woken up by some notifications.
