“Who are you?” Asher’s cold voice traveled through the silent forest. He was tense, ready to attack at any time.

Light fists from Adelia sealed his forward escape.

SURROUNDED. NOWHERE LEFT.

Alaric’s smile vanished.

For the first time, he looked serious.
