It was late in the evening. Amon parted away from Ethan and the others. He was getting along with them, acting like his usual self without hiding anything.

He told them he needed to check out something… alone. They looked at him suspiciously but didn’t question him. Amon simply gave them a wide smile like a fool.

He walked through a small path cutting through the forest and grass. Soon, he heard the soft sound of flowing water.

He was heading toward the river. The same one he had crossed to enter this village. Before long, he reached it. The river flowed smoothly, cool and clear.

“This place looks beautiful despite those creepy black trees.” Amon enjoyed the view for a while.

The he stepped to the edge and gazed calmly at the clean water.

“Alright. Time to take a proper bath.”

He looked around, checking if anyone was nearby. Seeing that it was safe and no one would witness his divine form without clothes, he exhaled softly.

“My purity is safe.”

Joking to himself, Amon began taking off his clothes. He was still wearing the same battered black outfit. He removed his upper garments.

His smooth figure came into view.

There were cuts, burns, and slash marks scattered across his body. Solid muscles had formed. Six well-defined abs built through effort.

He had a perfect body. Not too lean, not too bulky, just right.

“I’ve really grown good muscles in just a few months after joining the Academy.”

Then he started removing his lower clothes. He unzipped his pants and pulled them down. He was wearing a boxer underneath.

Now he was nearly naked. His divine form was one piece of clothing away from being fully revealed.

Just as he slid his boxer slightly down. A voice came from behind him.

“Hey. Watch your surroundings before… undressing.” Hearing the beautiful voice, Amon flinched and turned immediately.

“Who’s there?”

All he saw were dark trees. No one stood nearby. He frowned. “Was that my imagination?”

“No.” The same voice responded, more stern this time.

Suddenly, one of the trees rustled as a figure jumped down from it.

Amon saw wavy red hair as the person landed gracefully on the ground.

Her shoes made a soft sound against the solid earth.

Amon’s eyes widened, his jaw dropped. His expression was pure shock.

In front of him stood a woman of breathtaking beauty. She was tall, just a few centimeters taller than Amon.

Her hair was a rich, fiery red. Long, thick, and full of volume, it cascaded in soft waves past her shoulders. Loose strands fell over one eye, adding to her mysterious charm. The red tones seemed intense and luminous, almost glowing, giving her an aura that felt both warm and dangerous.

Her eyes were as striking as her hair. Clear amethyst, like polished crystals, capable of swallowing a person whole. Her skin was smooth and fair.

She wore a long, ankle-length dress made of coarse wool or sturdy linen, dyed in muted earthy shades. Brown and gray.

The bodice was fitted but modest, buttoned or laced at the front, covering her up to the collarbone.

Yet even that could not hide her dangerous curves. Her breasts were large, reminding Amon of his favorite teacher, Adelia. Making him want to hold them, play with them nonstop. Below them, her waist was thin, leading down to wide hips.

Amon couldn’t see her thighs, but he was sure they were plump and thick.

But what attracted him the most was her face, dangerous yet seductive.

If Adelia was like a gentle angel, then this woman looked like seductive empress.

She seems to be similar age to Adelia. Twenty- five or maybe more older.

She looked at him with an indifferent gaze.

Amon was completely mesmerized, staring at her dazedly, captivated by her beauty.

“What? Why are you just standing there and not saying anything?” she finally broke the silence.

Her amethyst eyes lowered slightly. A faint blush appeared on her face when she noticed his boxer was still slightly down.

“Come on! Cover yourself! Why are you standing there like a statue?”

Only then did Amon snap out of his daze.

A blush appeared on his face as he realized his situation. He quickly pulled his boxer up and instinctively covered his chest.

“Yo-you… you pervert! Trying to peep on me… Oh goodness, my body was supposed to be seen by my future wife… but someone else saw it first.”

Hearing his nonsense only made her blush deeper as she frowned.

“What do you mean by pervert? I wasn’t peeping on you. And why would I even peep at you?”

“Of course to see my pure form without fabric. I’m so handsome, after all. You women are all like this. Hmph!”

Amon continued spouting nonsense, trying to hide his embarrassment.

She opened her mouth in utter shock. “What nonsense are you saying, boy? I wasn’t peeping. And how can you call yourself handsome like that?”

She couldn’t understand his audacity. He was calling himself handsome as if it were an undeniable truth and acting like the victim.

“Then why are you here?” Amon finally asked, dropping the drama. He stopped covering his chest and spoke normally.

She was taken aback by his sudden shift in attitude. Then she noticed the small mischievous smile and teasing glint in his eyes.

She realized he had been teasing her. Her soft rosy lips twitched in annoyance.

She sighed. Shaking her head side to side.

“I spend my time here every day. This place is calm and beautiful… so I sit on the tree and enjoy the quiet of this dark nature.”

Amon nodded in understanding. “Weird… but alright. Sorry for acting like that.” He smiled widely.

“My name is Amon. I’m new to this village. I wanted to take a bath in the river. I didn’t know someone else might be here.”

She studied him for a few seconds without speaking, then nodded.

“It’s alright. I should have come out earlier as well. Sorry about that. You can bathe. I’ll head back.”

She turned and began walking away, heading toward the village.

Amon blinked. “Hey! You didn’t tell me your name, beautiful lady!”

She stiffened and turned her head slightly. Looking at him from the corner of her eye, her red wavy hair falling to her waist, she replied.

“Scarlett.”

Then she turned forward and walked away.

“Scarlett…” Amon muttered her name, staring at her slightly swaying, hypnotic hips.

His time here might be more exciting that he initially thought.
