And then there was nothing left to support him.

Amon’s body dropped. Falling through empty space. The remnants of the tower dissolved around him like sand scattered in the wind.

The gray sky opened above him.

Cold air rushed past his body as he fell from the height where the tower once stood.

His hair moved with the wind. His blood-stained face remained calm.

That faint smile. It didn’t disappear. His eyelids slowly began to close.

“…It’s over…” he whispered faintly.

The battlefield far below came into view, blurred in his fading vision. Everything felt distant.

Everything looked quite. It was peaceful.

He felt satisfied. His eyes finally closed halfway. His body continued to fall through the open sky.

And still that small smile remained on his lips.
