After so many days, the sky of the carceral citadel had cleared up, only for the darkness to spread.

With the Graveyard being the centre, a blast of black flames spread in all directions.

But suddenly everything returned to normal, the clouds slowly returned and the snowfall continued like before.

Though, a lot of beasts and phantom planet creatures began to run towards the centre of the chaos.

Inside the core room, Neil’s body buzzed before becoming whole again.

His skin was covered by darkness, black flames burning around him and strange patterns lit all over his body.

Though they seemed incomplete, and in the end just disappeared.

Neil’s consciousness sank in an infinitely big space, his soul space.

But he couldn’t really see anything around, it was all covered by darkness, which devoured his senses.

His eyelids trembled and Neil’s consciousness returned to his body.

Immense energy was ready to burst out of his body, along with the evolution to the third phase, even his synergy had increased.

Neil looked down at himself, his clothes were gone.

Pulling out a mirror, he looked back at himself, seeing a dreadful creature.

A figure resembling those phantoms more and more, his eyes pitch black and faint glowing tattoos appearing over his body.

Taking a deep breath, Neil returned to his normal appearance, he glanced back into the mirror once again.

His features had changed very slightly, thankfully the changes weren’t bad.

His physique seemed way better than before, tall and not bulky but perfectly refined muscles.

These changes didn’t limit to just his body, he could feel an even stronger urge for bloodshed, battles, for blood.

It was so chaotic that if he let his emotions free, he would instantly turn into a Phantom.

This is why evolutions scared him a bit.

“Haa I won’t let a brute creature defeat me, I will yet again steal the victory, no matter how many tries it take.”

Neil read the new status panel from the top, in the race section, it showed 3rd phase but Neil wasn’t sure what it meant.

He did feel the feeling of being incomplete intensify, to the point of being uncomfortable.

And an even stronger call from the sea, like a magnetic pull.

Shaking his head, he focused on other things and saw the increase in his talent.

“At 31%, it already surpasses what I would have had as a human before, the difference is just… shocking.” Neil sensed the quantity and quality of essence in his cores.

Now even the cores were full of darkness, the colour of essence too had changed to pitch black.

Previously, they just absorbed essence and stored it, then used it just like that.

But now, the cores refined it and transformed the essence in a form that fit each person, increasing their strength greatly.

There would be more conditions for further evolutions, not just collecting gene points.

With a thought, a fog of darkness appeared over Neil’s palm making the air sizzle strangely, it was his essence; so strong and corrupting.

“There really are so many changes after the evolution, if teacher was here she could explain everything to me.” He sighed, he wondered if Cinthia was worried.

Nemo had sent many messages but wasn’t sure if any had reached her.

His gaze paused over the soul space line, Cinthia or Nemo didn’t mention anything about it.

“Nemo, is that normal? Phantom Imprint..?” He questioned.

“No master, humans or any other races at the 3rd Origin possess no soul space ability, it must be because of your race.” Nemo spoke.

Since Neil was in a bit of a hurry, he decided to check it out later and gazed at his skills.

“Slimemorph has gotten better, now the slimes won’t dissolve until their energy has run out, and even possess some intelligence, good.” This was a nice skill.

And finally, Aquamorph, the new line surprised Neil.

“Affect my surroundings at atomic level?” this sounded way too broken even with limits.

As soon as the skill was activated, Neil’s icy blue eyes glowed.

He felt as if he was thrown in a completely different world, a world where he ruled everything, a thought was enough to transform air into flames.

To turn the ground into wood, to easily transform the nature of matter. Though that was more of a feeling, this skill still had a long way to reach that level of godhood.

Neil deactivated the skill, it was too overwhelming.

He would test it out later but not in his Domain, right now it was time to check out the situation outside.

His senses covered a vast area around them and he could sense so many creatures running towards them.

Wearing the battlesuit, he walked out of the core room.

Without even doing anything, the area around him turned a bit darker and air seemed to flow like waves.

“Master, your evolution took nearly 8 days, even the Diamond classes finish in less than 4. I wonder how much your strength has increased.” Nemo sensed the environmental shift around him, feeling awed.

“We will know soon enough, for now, we need to move to safety.” As he walked out of the Domain, Neil was surprised by the sight around him.

Everything had been upgraded, all buildings looked better and well arranged.

Leon wore better armor and had grown stronger, in fact everything was so much better.

But ignoring all this, his gaze moved around until he found her…

The gorgeous healer looked even more breathtaking, so perfect after her evolution.

Along with the buildings, the subjects who were created with them also evolved.

Just like the four archers in the Archer Towers, or Mob.

“Lord, welcome back!” all of them greeted Neil with respect, bowing deeply before him.

“Rise, how is the situation around?” Neil smiled towards Eli, slowly walking towards her.

Her grey eyes fixed on him, she noticed the slight changes in his body after the evolution, capturing every detail.

Pulling her soft, warm and fragrant body into a tight hug, Neil felt calmed and at home.

“Our location has been exposed, and thousands of creatures are rushing in our direction.” Leon reported, failing to gauge Neil’s current strength.

“It’s time for battle then…”
