Chapter 51: The Business

Hiroshima and Zeke grabbed a few 1st Origin Silver Class corpses and brought them towards Neil’s domain.

After a short walk, they arrived in front of the domain that was completely covered by snow.

“Alright, just wait a little here.” Neil grabbed the ropes to which the five corpses were tied and dragged them inside.

The other two waited outside. They had already given Neil the list of items they wanted to purchase.

“Do you think he is telling the truth?” Zeke asked. He was good at combat but not much at reading people’s character.

Otherwise, he definitely wouldn’t have saved that piece of shit Arlo all those years ago.

He was feeling quite curious about her. Her caring behaviour, she didn’t seem the type to play schemes and such.

So he wanted to know why she was like this. After all, previously when a girl was good to him, he had his heart broken.

The two sat around the campfire. Ileana looked at him quizzically. She even wondered if he was going to ask for that coat back.

Back in the settlement, in a well built house.

A man with a slightly chubby form sat on a sofa, with two women on either side.

A few men were standing in front of him, all looking burly and rough.

Arlo was in his thirties. He was unlucky enough to end up here, but after getting saved, his life shined like never before.

He had literally become a king here. Even the warden could do nothing about him.

He was drinking wine and eating meat while talking with his men.

“Lukas? You got beaten up by a newbie? And a classless at that?” Arlo spoke with his mouth stuffed with a piece of beef.

At that, everyone around began to laugh at Jose, his leg still bleeding.

“I- I was just careless. That bastard attacked me sneakily.” He retorted, before adding, “But Arlo, this is a clear slap to your face.

He said you are a son of a bitch, motherfucker, asshole, and uh that he isn’t afraid of you, a- and you can go eat dog shit. A- and that you like taking backsho-”

“Enough!!” Arlo smashed the glass against the ground. The room fell silent and turned chilly.

Just as Arlo was about to speak, a loud announcement rang out that made them all frown.
