Chapter 76: Confessions and Vulnerabilities

“Well that was powerful.” Neil mumbled as he put away the heavy elemental bow.

The sky looked the same as always with two bloody moons in the sky, he looked towards the two builders.

Both Bob and Rob stood there in shock, unaware that their lord’s strength had grown to this extent.

“Did anyone come to exchange for food recently?” he questioned.

“No lord, after that last exchange they had gone out but the surrounding is strangely empty, even the links are not opening.” Bob answered, that was the message delivered earlier by Joe.

“I see, is it because of the beast tide?” Neil wondered and decided to go have a talk with Hiroshima.

He really needed to find a link to get some things from his teacher, but for now he decided to rest.

Noticing that Neil was back, Ileana quickly arranged warm water in his bathroom in case he wanted to bathe.

Then she asked Fay to prepare the food for him and herself.

Returning to his room, Neil first took a relaxing bath, in such cold weather it felt good.

From the next day, his training with his teacher would start, Neil had only learnt the basics of fighting back in academy.

And there were so many things he wasn’t aware of, so having a teacher was not bad.

As he walked out of the bath, having changed into his sleepwear, he smelled the scent of delicious food.

But even more fragrant was the scent of Ileana, the druid princess.

She stood before a table full of dishes with a beautiful smile, it was quite refreshing to see her smile.

“Have you eaten yet?” Neil walked towards the table and sat on the chair.

“Let me dry your hair, lord.” Ileana grabbed a towel and began to gently rub against his head.

“Long hair suits you but they will get messy and might hinder you in your fight, so how about I give you a haircut?” she said, caressing his smooth hair.

“You know that too?” he asked, while relaxing.

She massaged his head for a while, before Neil asked her to stop as the food was getting cold.

“Let’s eat.” He said.

Ileana nodded, Neil seemed more approachable and closer now, she liked the change.

While eating, Neil shared various of his experiences from back on earth, or from the recent battles.

Ileana, without the memories of her past life didn’t have much to share, but she just loved to see him talk.

When he told her a few of the funny incidents from the academy, her melodic laughter filled the room.

As they finished eating, Ileana carried out the food table.

While Neil sat on the bed, making plans for the future. He needed to find a link, maybe he should try going to the hot side.

Just after a few more kills, even his armor will be upgraded to the 2nd Origin.

Then the lava won’t be much of a problem.

Before long, Ileana returned to the bedroom, she no longer even made excuses to sleep beside him.

“Lord, is there some problem?” seeing the serious look on his face she asked, walking closer to the bed.

She was yet to change into her comfortable sleepwear.

She sat facing him, surprise written all over her face.

She had been trying to get close to him all this time but the sudden closeness still made her blush.

Ileana looked back into his deep icy blue eyes, they looked so beautiful, she could never get bored looking at them.

The two stayed silent for a few moments, their emotions overflowing, their vulnerabilities clear to each other.

Neil’s hand moved up her back as he pulled her closer and pressed his lips against her moist and tender pink lips.

For a moment, the flustered princess was frozen but then she closed her eyes, leaning into the gentle kiss.

The connection felt so hot, as if the two were melting into the kiss.

Neil pressed tighter against her lips, before biting her lower lip and pulling it back softly.

As he released, the soft lips bounced back softly.

Just by that kiss, Ileana felt so hot, her cheeks and neck turning red.
