Chapter 142: A Weak Monster

Despite both his arms broken and the deep cut over his shoulder, there wasn’t even a slight change in Neil’s expression.

He just stood there as countless thoughts popped into his mind.

His body bent and started to shiver, knees creaking, as his expression changed to one of horror.

How could this weak guy control something so dangerous?

Shen or most lost lords didn’t even experience 1% of that, even with analyzer they would have given up long ago.

All those challenges, breakdowns, mental torture had resulted in such a powerful mental power, it far surpassed Neil’s rank.

Extreme bloodlust exploded, making everyone feel suffocated. The sky had darkened, it felt like a natural disaster.

’I- I am going to die!! Monster, h- he is a monster…’ Shen’s heart was full of fear, confusion and regret, how could someone at the 3rd Origin be so strong?

Neil was still at the classless rank, just what was happening?

The people around would have been just as shocked but all of them had already fallen unconscious.

From 1st Origin to 3rd Origin, all the lords around were out cold.

Shen screamed in terror as his skin started to melt away, the darkness poured into his mouth, nose, ears and eyes.

His brain itself was attacked directly, this mental skill was so powerful that it even dealt physical damage.

Cracks started to appear in Shen’s soul space, making it impossible for him to even activate his skill or Field.

Arnold frowned upon seeing Shen’s condition, if nothing was done he would surely die.

But it didn’t look like Neil was going to listen to him, unfortunately he didn’t possess any mental skill to break this attack.

Neither could he hurt Neil, so there was just one option, to forcefully suppress him.

Once he had calmed down, Arnold could understand the situation better and solve it properly.

Without wasting any second, Arnold activated his field as a yellowish sphere swallowed him and Neil.

Instantly, Neil’s mental connection was broken, he felt suppression over his mental energy, essence and even physical suppression.

He glared at Arnold, so in the end, he was attacking directly.

But inside the field, Neil didn’t know what exactly to do, how to break it or exit.

“Don’t even try, you can’t exit it until the field is broken or taken back by its creator.” Freya spoke lazily.

Frowning, Neil looked around, the inside of the domain seemed to be muscles, which were pulsing rapidly.

Arnold was standing in front of him, he didn’t make any moves.

’Do you know a way to break it?’ Neil asked, though he couldn’t really trust her words.

“Well I do, just let me-” she suddenly became excited.

’No thanks.’ Neil looked at Arnold, his gaze full of contempt and rage.

“Neil, calm down, I don’t want to hurt you. You really can’t kill Shen, I am speaking for your own good.”

Arnold tried to explain but each time he spoke, he only made the situation worse.

“Oh, you seem confident. Why don’t you try first?” Neil’s arms started to glow, as the temperature inside the Field turned strange.

One side felt extremely chilly while the other was burning hot.

“No wait, just listen to me. Let’s just talk cal-” he was just speaking as Neil’s weapons were materializing but then there was a faint knocking sound.

Instantly, cracks spread over the domain and then it broke.

The pressure Neil was feeling disappeared and they were back outside.

Not far away, Shen lay on the ground, bleeding from all the holes in his body.

Right now, there was no skin on his body, he looked like a horrifying corpse.

Though Arnold heaved a sigh of relief, seeing his chest move ever so slightly.
