The kids were told about the prom on Christmas Eve, and excitement and anticipation filled Hogwarts.
However, as Aaric and the group sat beside the Black Lake, Aaric was getting looks from both his girls.
“Draco, who are you going with?” Aaric asked Draco.
Draco glanced at Daphne. “I asked Astoria, and she agreed,” Draco said.
Daphne just nodded with a smile. “Good. I know you will take good care of my sister,” she said.
Draco gave a beaming smile at that. “Always,” he said with conviction.
“Calm down, Draco. You don’t have a ring to show her after prom, do you?” Aaric teased, and Draco just smirked.
“Aaric, who are you going to take?” Draco asked Aaric with the smile of a devil.
Aaric scowled at Draco. “I will take both, of course. If they wish to…” Aaric said, looking at his girls.
Daphne and Luna looked at each other and shrugged. “I guess,” Daphne said dismissively.
“I don’t mind either,” Luna said with the same expression.
Aaric looked at them. “Please, don’t force yourselves on my behalf. I can ask Harry or Ron. I am certain they are both available,” Aaric said.
“I am not interested in going with you. I just did not have time to sort out all those letters I got from girls to choose one,” Ron said with a smug expression.
“That’s because you just woke up,” Aaric retorted, earning a scowl from Ron and chuckles from their group.
Aaric then glanced at Harry, who was looking away from the hopeful gaze of Ginny and glancing at Ron with worry.
“Ron, what would you think if Harry asks Ginny?” Aaric asked directly.
Harry and Ginny blushed at the question, and Ron shrugged. “I trust him,” Ron said, glancing at Harry.
“I guess you both are unavailable… Ars, my brother, you are my only hope,” Aaric muttered before looking at Ars and spreading his arms as if to give him a hug.
Ars dodged the hug and gave a smug smile. “I have asked Padma Patil, and she agreed,” Ars said, his nose pointed up.
Luna and Daphne giggled when they saw the sulking Aaric return to his seat between them.
They then leaned in and kissed his cheeks. “I would be happy to go with you,” Daphne said, and Luna nodded as well.
“I guess I don’t need you guys anymore,” Aaric said smugly as he glanced at Ron, Harry, and Ars.
Ron flipped him off, earning a slap on the head from Hermione, while Harry was busy exchanging glances with Ginny.
“If you will excuse me, I promised my date I would be meeting with her,” Ars said, waving at the group.
“I think she is tolerating you because she wishes to spend time with Grub,” Aaric said with a smirk.
Ars scoffed and kissed Grub’s head after holding the spirit in his palm. “Grub is the best wingman then,” Ars said as he walked away.
The group then scattered, while Harry and Ginny gave some excuses so they could stay and get some privacy.
Harry turned to Ginny. “Will… you go to the prom with me?” he asked shyly.
Ginny beamed and hugged Harry. “Yes!” she said and kissed his cheek before letting go and taking Pyra in her arms and holding her tight.
“Are you sure you don’t just want to spend time with Pyra?” Harry asked with a teasing expression.
“Do you want the truth?” Ginny asked, holding Pyra close and giving Harry a smirk.
Harry pretended to think for a moment before shaking his head. Ginny giggled and held his hand as they sat beside the lake and chatted for a bit.
Meanwhile, with Aaric:
“How about we go on that date I promised you?” Aaric asked Luna and Daphne as he held them by the waist.
Luna and Daphne smiled. “Where to?” Daphne asked.
“How about a world under the Olympians or Ra?” Aaric asked.
Daphne shook her head. “Ra only has seven worlds that are in the Dreamlands,” she said.
Luna had sprinkled some of the golden sand on Daphne in the waking world. So, now she had her full powers in the waking world as well.
“Well, there are a million worlds and countless universes under the Olympians. Which one should we go to?” Luna asked.
She placed a finger on Aaric’s forehead as images and information of different worlds passed through Aaric’s mind.
“I have a world. Can you ask Lord Hades to manipulate time in the world so we are not gone for days in our world?” Aaric asked Luna with a grin.
Luna’s eyes glowed for a second, and she nodded.
“Think of the world and location,” Luna said and held Aaric’s hands.
Aaric did as he was told, and a few moments later, a portal was formed beside them.
Chaya peeked from Aaric’s sleeve, and Noctelle landed on Luna’s shoulder.
“I think you should stay here, girl,” Aaric told Chaya, giving her a kiss on the head.
Luna was doing the same with Noctelle as well. The two protested a little but agreed after some time and sat in Aaric’s room as if sulking.
Aaric and Luna gave their companions one last kiss before the three entered the portal.
In the world of That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime, after Rimuru basically gets the powers of Veldanava,
The three exited the portal and appeared in a secluded area in a bustling town at night.
The girls looked in surprise at the different kinds of species living together in harmony with each other.
“Why don’t you both book a room in that inn over there? I will join you in a moment,” Aaric asked the girls as he sensed something.
“Do we have the money of this world?” Daphne asked, and Luna extended her hand, and three pouches appeared in front of them.
“Hades is called The Wealthy One as well,” Luna said as she distributed the pouches between the three.
“These pouches are basically endless, and you just need to think of the amount you want,” Luna said and took out some gold coins from her pouch.
“You mean I won’t need to work, ever?” Aaric asked Luna, giving her a kiss.
“I will take care of you,” Luna said with a giggle.
Luna and Daphne went to book the room, and Aaric looked back. “Come out,” he said towards the darkness.
An androgynous-looking person with silvery-blue hair and deep sapphire eyes emerged from the shadows.
“Yo, I’m Rimuru,” he said, extending his hand with a smile.
Aaric smiled back and shook his hand. “I’m Aaric,” he said.
“So, what are two powerful gods and someone I cannot sense the strength of doing in my part of town?” Rimuru asked directly.
“I just brought my girls for a date,” Aaric said with a shrug.
Rimuru inclined his head towards Aaric and nodded with a smile.
“Would you and the girls like to have dinner with me at the palace? Shuna made some Grilled Wyvern Skewers today,” Rimuru asked.
“Not today. I was thinking of exploring the town and the dungeon with the girls first,” Aaric shook his head.
Rimuru shrugged. “Give me a call when you wish,” he said and walked away with a wave.
Aaric smiled and went to the inn and found their room.
Luna and Daphne had booked their best room for a week; it was basically a luxurious house.
He saw them enjoying some tea and cake as he entered the room.
“Let’s go shopping for clothes after we eat,” Daphne said. Aaric and Luna nodded at that.
