His words settled for a while as Lyra stood there, a frown etched clearly on her face.

’Fuck. Was that too edgy? If she attacks me instead, it’s so over for me. I don’t have any skills to battle a 999-rated character!’

Lyra sighed out loud.

“To think I would be subjected to take orders from a being like you. What a shame…”

She turned around and faced the group of players.

“But I guess I can’t complain. I hate humans more than taking orders. I shall do as you say.”

While she spoke, she stretched her hand forward toward the players as though about to launch a spell at them.

Kai watched, refusing to utter a word.

Then suddenly, the tanker at the back yelled—

“Run!!! It’s a trap!!!”
