As Janine approached her friends, she felt nervous, Caleb’s hand against her back soothed her as she proceeded forward under their gazes. “Um, hi everyone.” Janine said as she brushed some hair behind her ear.

He fought side by side with his husband and the rest of the rear guard against those evil bugs. Together till the end, giving us our chance to escape, that was some hero shit right there. Lucky bastard. Janet said it was a blessing though, and I suppose it is considering she has a little Bertram inside of her right now.”

Janine clapped her hands together excited for her friend. “Oh you two are pregnant! Oh I am over the moon for you!” The banter and good vibes went back and forth between the table for a while before Willy dropped the question.

A murmur of agreements went around the table, mostly referring to the latter part, the former was Willy just being Willy. Janine then turned to another table nearby with more of the mercenaries. “Mostly because of that.”

The rest of the group then turned to their comrades who had been looking at Janine and the beyond bored Talia with scornful, hate filled looks. Caleb being their leader, didn’t like the looks and began. “Hey pals, you got a problem with the species of your sister here? Take that up with me instead of looking at her like a bunch of pussies.”

One of the mercenaries at the other table simply spat on the ground, causing Janine to get up, walk over to the guy. “You want to do that again you fuck?” Slowly the members of each table began to stand up, what happened next depended on what the guy who just spat was going to say next.

“Why? Are you going to lick it up you freak of nature? Or would you prefer I spit on my cock so you can lap it up on your favourite snack? Filthily alien.”

“OI! No one talks to our blue cunt like that!” Willy said as he jumped over the table and leapt through the air, his foot coming in contact with the mercenary’s face. In an instant, fists were flying, drinks were thrown and onlookers screamed.

“Hahaha! You punch like a ponce!” Ernie yelled with glee as someone just struck him square in the nose. He then bitch slapped the man right in the ear, discombobulating the man, as he then picked up the man before throwing him away, landing on a nearby table, all while laughing as he was enjoying himself.

He then turned to see Caleb getting punched in the face repeatedly, he was about to make his way over when Caleb had reached into his pocket and clonked his attacker on the side of the head with a small rock.

He then brushed his jacket and wiped the blood from the cut on his eyebrow before meeting Ernie’s gaze and nodded. He then noticed one of his men had snuck a knife inside and was closing in behind Ernie, thinking fast, he aimed with his tactical rock and threw as hard as he could, luck being on his side as it hit the man square in the forehead, causing him to stumble for a second.

A second Ernie took advantage of. Grabbing the man’s wrist with one of his massive meat paddles, the man dropped the knife and suddenly found himself asphyxiated as Ernie’s other meat paddle had clutched the man by the throat and raised him over six feet into the air before he was slammed down into a table.

“Talia. Talia! Open your eyes!” Talia was squatting down beneath a table with her eyes closed and her hand covering the parts of her head that were not protected by her horns. She was reluctant, but she did open her eyes slowly at Janine’s request.

Talia looked at Janine and her mouth hung agape. She was standing with one of her heels on the man’s back who was wriggling with all his might, but could not escape. “Talia, grab one of those bottles and hit him over the head with it.”

“Wha-What? I can’t do that!” She said meekly, it looked like the man was going to say something snide, but Janine seemed to have precognition in this moment and pressed down harder, driving her heel in deeper, causing the man to scream.

‘Hmm, maybe there is more to wearing these than I thought. I basically have a weapon on the bottom of my foot…’ She thought before addressing Talia. “Talia, you heard what the man said about me. He is a vile excuse for a male. Have you ever wanted some form of revenge for all the hate we receive just for being born with blue skin? This is the perfect time, no repercussions, go on, take the glass, you know you want to.”

Talia hesitated a moment before emerging from the safety of the under-table. She then picked up an empty bottle from the table and shuffled over to the man on the floor slowly. “If you hit me with that I swear! I will AAAGHHH!”

“Shut it! You were my friend once and all of that just goes away because I am different? Fuck you! Talia, hit him.” Talia gulped as she leant down. She raised the glass above her head and struck down.

*Tonk*

A hollow noise sounded as the bottle made contact with the man’s skull. “Oww you little slut! Just you wait I will-“

The bottle came down harder this time, shards of glass breaking into the man’s skin as the bottle shattered. “I am not a slut!” Talia yelled before delivering the most flimsy kick Janine had ever seen to the man’s stomach.

Talia then clapped giddily and jumped on the spot before running up to Janine and hugging her. “I did it!” Janine patted the woman on the back. “That you did, well done.” After she said this, a group of individuals made their way through the onlooking crowd and began to take care of the troublemakers.

They could have acted faster, but allowing the fighters to tire themselves out tend to make it safer for staff to apprehend them. “Alright, Sit!” A large woman with a birth defect on her cheek said as she pushed a man to the ground, followed by another. As she and the other few security dealt with everyone, she came to a familiar face.

“Janine?” Janine looked over and flashed a smile. “Oh, hey Farah.” Farah looked around at the few beat up bodies. “Did you start this or finish it?” Farah asked curiously. Bias was already on the side of Janine, but she needed to create a cause if Janine started the fight.

“The dick with the glass in his head spat at me and was being racist.” Talia then interjected, showing an unusual amount of familiarity towards Farah. “Yeah, I already told them the importance of family bonds, but these baddies are lost sheep. I also helped and hit the man with a bottle!”

Farah then linked up the information from a cult bystander and ordered security. “Get rid of the ones affiliated with that man, the rest are free to stay.”
