I shrugged my shoulders and did as she asked, I felt touched that she was willing to wash me in front of… People? “Hey, it’s like 8 am, why is no one showering?” I asked confused as I looked around, causing Janine who was lathering up her hands to look around as well.

“Well, it makes sense doesn’t it? This location has been temporarily sectioned off for ’civie’ use, most people are not comfortable with just hanging dong in front of a bunch of other dudes. And it’s exactly because of people like you.”

“Huh?” I turned around confused. “People like me? What are you implying?” Janine then looked up and down across my body before coughing to clear her throat. “Do you really not realise? Ugh, you are too handsome for your own good you know?” She said, before turning me around.

“I also think I saw that this was the unisex showers. The men are most likely in the male showers to not appear as perverts and the women don’t want to be ogled, hence empty showers.”

I shrugged my shoulders. “Ok then, at least you weren’t trying to call me a pervert.” I replied, getting a pinch on my butt in return. “Pervert? Apollo I just had to see you spray your jizz all over the place in an occupied room, that’s pretty perverted… But I don’t mind that. I like you the way you are?”

Washing another’s body is strangely therapeutic. I took great care and effort to lather up Janine to the best of my ability and washed everywhere I considered fair game.

Janine was ticklish. I found out as the few times my fingers ran across her sides, she began suppressing giggles while jolting. I found the action very cute, but didn’t comment on it. It wasn’t long until I was done and with a pat on the shoulder I said.

“All done, we should head back to the others.” I said as I turned off the water. “Huh? Wha?” Janine suddenly exclaimed. ’But he didn’t even touch my…’ She shook the thought out of her head.

The sound of slot machines started playing inside of Janine’s mind. ’Jackpot!’ This was perfect. She could slowly deepen this little ritual they have suddenly made together, taking it a step further with every wash. Deepening the intimacy while she also starts flirting more and fully begins taking the steps towards the future she desperately wanted.

She immediately put on her banter pants and replied. “Hmmm~ is this just an excuse to stare at my ass more Apollo?” She then squinted her eyes for a moment playfully before smiling. “Sure, why not. I actually enjoyed this quite a bit. It was therapeutic in a way.”

I smiled immediately as she said that. “Right! I was thinking the exact same thing. It feels so nice to bathe a loved one. I can’t wait to do it more, also here.” I said and reached out my arm to use my Thermokinesis to dry us both off.

Janine smiled a cosy smile. “Mmmmh~ that feels wonderful.”

Shortly after returning to our room, the entire building was told to clear out. We did just that with no fuss and with us finishing enrollment yesterday, we didn’t have much to do. We emphasised that point by passing the day lazily.

We walked around all the stalls again, looking at some of the other classes and clubs that were joinable. A couple took my interest, but I had signed up for too many already. Fortunately though, classes were quite spread out. It wasn’t like normal schooling with classes everyday. Some of the lectures for example, were months apart and other classes took things like field expeditions into consideration, which was a good thing as I had signed up for three different classes that did those… Well, two classes and what was basically a mercenary posting exclusive to Psionic wielders that already had either military training or battlefield experience.

It was funny, but despite Caleb telling me that my contribution on Alexandria was kept secret, the person in charge of the mercenaries seemed to be aware of it as he asked me about ’the bug bastards.’

It took a lot not to put my arm through the man’s chest at trash talking my girl, but when the guy said that most Psionic individuals don’t actually get sent up to the galactic north and was genuinely curious to hear about the insectoid enemy.

I played my cards close to my chest with that one as Nerissa and Janine were not in the know and I wouldn’t want to say something exposing.

While I was ready at one point to walk away from the Boothe at the time, the two main rewards, aside from the monetary reward, had my science boner going off. The first being where I would be sent. The Drakoshi border. I had still yet to see one of these creatures and all I knew about them was that they were Bipedal and much larger than a human.

While that would have been more than enough as the stories the mercenaries told me about them made them seem perfect candidates for my genetic science to boost my augmentations to the next level, the second reward was what basically had me screaming. ’For Spartari!’

Access to the restricted section of the Colleges library, something that from my discussion with Nerissa, was something I definitely wanted and needed access to.

I was lying on the floor, resting my head on Orchids lap as I was thinking that when I suddenly heard a voice say.

“Apollo! Hello again!”
