“Willy, are you ok?” Janine asked, mortified. Willy was bleeding all over having taken the brunt of the attacks after his kick. The man coughed uncomfortably as he sat down on a chair. “Ah, these are badges of honour, I stood up for my friend, that is all that matters.”

Janine felt touched and hugged Willy, who flinched in the process as he was more hurt then he let on. “Janine, can we go now? We need to find Apollo.” Talia asked, causing Janine to look at her friends reluctantly. They had just got into a fight for her, it would be rude to leave.

Caleb noticed the reluctance and put her at ease. “Go on girl, Let us lick our wounds and come find us again later. I have a feeling we’ll be drinking ourselves into death’s door at this point haha!”

Janine nodded and thanked them one more time before turning to Caleb. “When was the last time you saw Apollo Caleb?” Caleb shuddered a moment before replying. “Kat and Valerica came over earlier and then went into that suite over there. They haven’t come out in a while, so I am taking a wild guess that he is in there.”

Janine was about to turn to Talia to indicate her ‘lets go’ but the Sepiida had already began hastily making her way to the door. Janine caught up quickly and the two of them entered the suite simultaneously to Apollo, Kathrine and Valerica laughing hysterically.

‘Oh man, that was the funniest thing ever!’ I thought to myself as I reached for my drink. I began questioning the legitimacy of the beverage in the barrel as I was not feeling drunk at all.

As I put my head back, I noticed two individuals at the door and exclaimed. “No way!” I got to my feet immediately and rushed over to Janine, picked her up and began hugging her carefully.

“Janine, Apollo missed you so much! How are you doing! Kat! Look who it is! It’s Janine! I love Janine so much! She is Apollo’s bestest friend, come here you!” I then began squeezing with a bit more force as I hugged her.

Janine just went with it for a moment. Apollo’s smell took her off guard. It was practically identical, but now it caused her head to spin. As she wrapped her arms around Apollo’s neck and hugged back as tight as she could, she lost herself in the safe ,warm feeling she only ever could feel in his embrace.

I pulled back from the hug and grabbed Janine by both of her arms and placed them to her side as I held her at my eye level. “How have you been? Apollo has been thinking about you. Are you well? Has Sophia been nice to you? You can tell Apollo if she hasn’t, Apollo will hit her with the stick if she has been bad. Apollo can do that as Apollo makes the rules!”

Janine began blinking in surprise before looking towards Valerica and Kathrine. “I thought Apollo couldn’t get drunk? The fuck have you given him?” Kathrine leaned forward after Janine asked this. She had been weening her drinks as she could not have as much as master and mummy and was therefore a little bit more coherent than the two chuggers.

“Alcohol in in in. Infused with Psionics. Apollo has had like seventy pints at this point.” I laughed when I heard that. “It’s true. Apollo had an entire barrel and was still sober. Apollo felt it coming on for a bit, but it went away quickly. Apollo feels a slight buzz, but nothing major *Gasp* Janine have some!”

I used my telekinesis to fetch a glass and pour the drink in a fluid chain of events and passed it to Janine.

“What about me?” I suddenly heard a very pleasant sounding voice and remembered there was a second figure at the door. It took me a moment to recognise the figure until a ding went off inside my head.

“Oh Talia! Oh awesome you made it!” I dropped Janine and picked up the Other Sepiida with one hand and placed her on my shoulder. Talia shrieked and then laughed at the action, causing me to chuckle before pointing at the figure.

“Did Apollo tell you that he met this Sepiida at a party on Ecumenopolis 1? Coolest Sepiida ever!” Valerica slammed her drink back and nodded her head. “Yes darling, we were there with you! But I was never told what you spoke about!”

I was about to reply to Kathrine when to my right I suddenly heard. “Augh! Poison! Apollo what is thi-whoah! Hahaha!” Janine sat down where I just was as her head started spinning. Kathrine spotted this and went. “Hah! Lightweight! Right?”

“She has never had it before, you bad girl! Come here darling, let Valerica look after you.” Valerica moved over and began stroking Janine’s hair who had lost her senses after a few mouthfuls.

I stood there for a moment, watching Janine, making sure she was ok until I felt my shoulder getting wet. “Huh? Oh right, Hi there.” I forgot about Talia as she weighed nothing. “Have you spilt a drink on Apollo’s shoulder? That’s ok, let’s sit down.”

As I placed Talia down, I sat next to her and wrapped my arms around the top of the booth and looked down at her with a smile. “Hey, are you ok? You are shivering.”

Talia was in fact. Not ok. She was shivering because her body had gone into an overloaded state. Apollo was different than she last remembered him being. It was like the aura of his genes around him had become even stronger, even more perfect than before. NO, this wasn’t an illusion, this was the case. Her perfect partner had become even more perfect. This made no sense to her, but it caused a chain of reaction.

To start off with, she had ruined her dress. Even now, she was leaking a reservoir, Lubrication for ease of access. If he graced her with mating tonight, he needed no restrictions he needed to be able to reach deep inside of her. Her insides were already clenching around an object that wasn’t there yet. How had she thought her previous mate was compatible when she was looking at the most genetically perfect entity she had ever witnessed, the most perfect entity her bloodline had ever witnessed!

Her body began spiking chemicals to loosen her up. Her eyes dilated fully as her body began creating a natural high throughout her entire body. She was barely in control of herself. The way he picked her up like she was nothing and treated her like an accessory on his shoulder… It was taking everything to not mount her mate, but she knew she needed permission. Subservience was the key to pleasing this, was there a word for a creature of pure perfection?

As he leant down, Talia’s eyes began darting back and forth between his eyes and lips as her breathing increased. ‘This is it!’ She thought, until he spoke. “So, how is our plan going? Have you been introduced to Apollo’s family yet?”

Suddenly she remembered something. A key component to the agreement Apollo put in place for her to be his mate. Her insides screamed in pain, knowing they would not receive his children tonight, but it allowed herself to stop shaking and nodded her head meekly.

“Yes Apollo, the future sire of my offspring, your loyal concubine has attended the sermons. Mother Sophia has shown me the light of your love, and the love of the outer family.”

I quickly peered around the room. Valerica seemed fully locked in on caring for Janine and Kathrine was already in the know, but was squinting her eyes at Talia. Leaning in closer, I began to whisper, my breath tickling Talia, causing her to quiver in delight.

“And, what do you think of Apollo’s family? Do you think you would want to join us? Apollo told you, you could keep your appearance for the most part did Apollo not? You have advanced through enough sermons to witness the gifts now correct?”

Talia’s brain stopped functioning. Apollo’s lips were directly pressed against her ears by the time he finished whispering. She had seen them. She had proven herself devout, she had taken in the sermons, they started out simple, a place to commune, talk about the injustices of this society without censure. Talia felt like they were talking directly about her and her situation with some of the things they said.

Eventually, she was told to go to a new location for the gatherings, now they became sermons. They talked about the corruption of Spartari, how they were a sickness, a darkness. A taint for all those wrongly treated. Talia was enthralled again. Despite her lavish lifestyle, she was always suppressed for the species she was. The leaders of these sermons began to talk about a light that would cleanse the darkness that existed beyond our galaxy that had already begun to cleanse the very fringes.

The next time she was asked to go somewhere else, there was a massive change. There were no metaphors. Talia began to learn about what these meetings were about, what the light was, who the light sent to offer salvation for those that wished to live eternally in its light, its noble purpose of universal unification. She had already met Mother Sophia at this point, but when she transformed into that creature, it weeded out the true believers from the cattle. Only her and a few others were left after that sermon to which she began understanding more about Apollo’s family, about how she would become one. She already would have been on the way, she would have taken Sophia’s poison into herself, but she made it clear that Apollo said he had plans for her and to wait.

This made Talia’s answer simple as she whispered.

“I am a part of your family Apollo. Yours until the end of time, to do with as you wish.”
