I guess 1 liter is enough for now.” Saber Demon knew that he was only tolerated by the sect since he does not kill those who he harvests blood from. He only kills those that has to be killed.

Fang Lin did not waste any time after the proctor started the match. The ground under Fang Lin’s feet creaked as his legs erupted with power. This propelled Fang Lin towards Saber Demon.

Upon seeing this, Saber Demon sneered. He was well aware on what Fang Lin’s plan was. From the looks of it, Fang Lin wanted to finish Saber Demon off with his strongest move before Saber Demon could use his boon!

“Foolish thinking!” Saber Demon could only laugh at Fang Lin’s pathetic attempt to overturn his predicament. This chess-type battle had already been a custom part of the training for the disciples here in the God Continent Branch. Using boons instantly was already instinctual for Saber Demon.

Right after he thought of that, Saber Demon felt an extreme sense of danger from Fang Lin’s right hand. Fang Lin’s right hand was covered in three different colors, namely brown, red and black. With the limitation of my Knight not allowing me to attack 1 second after the boon activation, it only gives me 4 seconds to defeat you. If I failed to defeat you within that timespan, I can just use my remaining boon to dispel that attack of yours should you opt to use it again. After that, I will just wait one more second, then your defeat will be absolute!”

After having these thoughts, Saber Demon jumped back a little as he waited for the one second limitation to finish. He also wanted to use that space to look for any weak parts on Fang Lin’s body. Saber Demon then opened his mouth to say the insult that he wanted to say to Fang Lin earlier.

“Hey Fang Lin, you’re so fat you’re Mama had to-” But he was again cut-off when he sensed danger coming from Fang Lin’s left hand. This time, Fang Lin’s left hand was holding a sword. 9 short knives were rotating around the sword.

Saber Demon knew that if he gets his by that 10 sharp weapons, his current body will be pierced without a doubt.

“What the hell? So you had one more special attack? But who cares, I will just dispel it!” Saber Demon then used his boon once more. Just like before, the glowing orb from the Knight made the sword and the knives disappear. After that, Saber Demon felt that he had no more available use for the Knight.

“That encounter lasted for a second. With that, there’s only 4 seconds before Fang Lin could use the attack on his right hand, while there’s possibly at least 5 seconds left for the left hand. By using one more second for the limitation, there’s 3 and 4 seconds left respectively for the hands. This means I only have 3 seconds left to defeat him!”

Saber Demon dropped his sly nature as he immediately used his sure-kill move. He did not want to use it this early, but this Fang Lin surely was talented enough to force him to use it.

“You’re good. But your power is not enough!” Saber Demon spread his legs evenly on the floor as he held his saber with his two hands. He then raised his saber above his head, with the saber pointing towards the skies.

His current pose was eerily similar to that of the golden-haired woman who wielded a golden blade.

“Hehehe, try to survive this, if you can!” Saber Demon was about to chant the name of his beloved saber when he felt something that made him falter.

Saber Demon felt another sense of danger, this time coming from Fang Lin’s right foot!

Just as Fang Lin’s right foot landed on the stage, Saber Demon felt monstrous amounts of Ice and Fire qi erupting from that foot. These two types of qi combined together, forming a tornado that engulfed Saber Demon. With no boon to dispel this attack, Saber Demon could only watch as he gets swallowed by the tornado.

“Ahh!!!” Saber Demon shrieked from pain as he felt the intense cold and heat assaulting his body.

He tried using his saber to disperse the tornado, but he found out that his qi turned sluggish, as if the cold prevented it from circulating.

He tried to move his body, but he was not able to do so, as the heat wreaked havoc on his tissues. The tornado continued engulfing Saber Demon until he could not take it anymore. His knees buckled as he let go of his saber. The last thing that he heard before his thoughts went black was Fang Lin muttering,

“First Step: Convection Twister!”
