The martial art was all about creating the essence of twelve beasts from his own comprehension. The base form of these beasts must be the Rat, Ox, Dog, Monkey, Rooster, Horse, Snake, Pig, Rabbit, Sheep, Tiger and Dragon. One can use a stronger animal as long as it shares a similarity with any of the base form.

For example, you can cultivate the essence of the Phoenix with the Rooster as the base form. As long as they were similar to each other, there will be no problem.

These essences are highly useful in combat for it will give a practitioner additional abilities. If a practitioner has produced a phoenix essence, he can have higher resistance to flames and faster healing rate. These essences can also be easily produced at any stage.

The difficulty of the martial art however lies in that only those who achieved Perfect Body Refinement Stage can practice it. The martial art requires the practitioner to have a perfect control to his body. Even though higher stages can do the same feat, the martial art can only be learned with the Perfect Body as the foundation.

The second difficulty was that in order to practice the martial art, the cultivator must study the beast and be the beast itself. You can only produce the phoenix essence if you become the phoenix itself. Doing something like this is nearly impossible.
