Chapter 300: Reappearance of an Old Acquaintance

Fang Lin saw Shax heaving a sigh of relief from that close call.

Seeing this scene just increased Fang Lin’s confusion.

“If that hand was a trap for me, then why did that hand try to kill Shax too? That is weird….. But that only means that there is something wrong with that hand!”

Right on cue, Shax kicked the Illusion Fang Yu corpse as he said,

Illusion Fang Lin let out a cough as he felt his body being slammed gently on another table. Since he was inside the body bag, he could not see where he was. But Fang Lin was sure that he was already on where he was supposed to be.

“Ok, here is your payment.” Illusion Fang Lin heard a gruff voice from outside the body bag. This person must be the one who was supposed to receive him.

“Oh my, this seems to be a lot than what I… expected.” The Head Warden mumbled as Illusion Fang Lin tensed inside the body bag.

“What do you plan with this guy right here? With what you gave to me, it seemed like it’s a large-scale operation.”

“What we do is of no concern to you.” The gruff voice replied quickly. “You were just here to send him.”

“Fine fine.” The owner of the gruff voice seemed to do a facepalm as he realized that the Head Warden won’t stop whining until she got some info.

“As you may know, the Palace of the Gods had something that made their power more apparent than the Immortal Conclave, and that was their connection with a Sixth Stage Planet.”

“Seriously?” Illusion Fang Lin could not believe what he just heard. But he continued listening, just to make sure it was true.

The Head Warden seemed to be not surprised by this information as she just said “Go on.”

“Some of the Gods from the Palace of the Gods who ascended made their way into that planet, and they found a way to be in contact with Planet Thrae.”

The Head Warden hastily replie, “Yeah I know that too. Like a 2-way communication. So how that related here?”

The gruff speaker then lowered his voice as he said,

“Yesterday, one of the leaders of the Palace of the Gods sent a distress signal to that planet, asking for help regarding the war. As you may know, the Immortal Continent has a bigger advantage, especially with that guy who can create wormholes.”

“….” Illusion Fang Lin slightly grimaced after hearing that. “If you just realized that this wormhole guy was already imprisoned here….”

“Let me guess, those guys gave the Palace something right?” The Head Warden said as she slightly tugged the zipper on Fang Lin’s body bag.

“Since it’s just a communication contact, there is now way to send an object in both ways.” The gruff speaker said. “But even with that, those guys sent a message back, telling the Palace of the Gods a ritual that will let them win this war.”

“Don’t tell me that ritual requires this guy?” The Head Warden said as she patted the body bag. “In that case, you should pay me more!”

The gruff speaker seemed to ignore the Head Warden’s complaints as he said,

“Head Warden! After you left earlier, a massive riot happened in the prison! Now, all of the prisoners left the cell and took the whole prison as their own!”

“What!”

“Not only that Head Warden. There was this guy in the prison who used a scroll or something. After he did that, a massive golden bull appeared here in the prison! It was so strong, that all of the Wardens here were defeated! Head Warden, you are our only hope! Plea-”

The message was cut off by a massive thudding sound, followed by a deafening bellow.

“Moooo!!!!!!”
