Chapter 32: Three Years Minimum, Death Penalty at Most
Kouya turned around slowly, his shadow stretching long beneath the dimming orange light. The air was still, carrying the faint scent of sakura petals drifting lazily through the air. Behind him, a pair of sky-blue eyes locked onto his back, unblinking, pure, and luminous like a cloudless afternoon sky.
“Stare——”
A thin beam of sunlight slipped through the fluttering blossoms, scattering pink light across the small figure standing there. The gothic loli’s pale dress swayed slightly in the breeze, its lace hem rippling like a wave. Her long lashes trembled faintly, catching the last shimmer of light. Her little face, so flawlessly carved it seemed unreal, remained blank—but the interplay of shadow and radiance painted an almost ethereal beauty around her.
It was the blue-eyed young dragon, Kanna.
The evening breeze brushed past, rustling the trees.
The sunset dyed everything gold and quiet.
Kanna took a few small, deliberate steps forward, the click of her shoes muffled by the soft petals beneath. Then, in that same even tone that betrayed no emotion, she said:
“I’m hungry. I want food.”
“…”
Ah, that voice… that line… too damn familiar.
Wasn’t that exactly what she said to me that night!?
If I just give in and feed her every time she says that, won’t I lose all my dignity as a man?
Kouya’s brows furrowed. He gave a short snort, ready to deny her flatly—but then, he suddenly remembered the old lady downstairs who doted on every stray cat and puppy like they were her own children. He’d often seen her crouched down, feeding them snacks with a soft smile. Something about that image flashed in his mind, and for a split second, he felt amused.
“You really want to eat?” he asked, narrowing his eyes.
“Mm.”
“Alright then.” Kouya tore off a small piece of chocolate from the cake he was holding. “Catch this and eat it.”
Kanna blinked her big eyes, slow and unbothered. “Okay.”
“Ready—” Kouya said, crouching slightly and curling his finger like a slingshot.
“Ah…” The little dragon opened her mouth, tiny lips parting like a kitten expecting a treat.
“Biu.” Kouya flicked his finger, and the small chocolate flew in a smooth arc.
“Ah-woof!” Kanna tilted her head, snapping it up in midair with startling precision.
Kouya’s eyes lit up. “Not bad. Again.”
He flicked another—this time, a cherry.
“Ah-woof!” Another perfect catch.
One threw, the other caught. The rhythm between them fell into an odd harmony—almost intimate in its simplicity.
The wind played with Kanna’s short skirt as she moved, fluttering it just enough for Kouya to catch fleeting glimpses of the blue-and-white-striped fabric beneath—Snoopy’s cartoon face staring mockingly back at him. The sight hit him so suddenly he almost missed his next throw.
Before long, the snacks were gone. Kouya dusted his hands, feeling rather satisfied with himself. He opened his mouth to speak—but before he could, Kanna blinked again, her expression unreadable, and suddenly lunged forward like a blue-haired missile.
Kouya barely had time to react before—“Ah-woof”—she took his finger into her mouth.
Not his whole hand. Just one slender finger.
Her tiny mouth clumsily wrapped around it, warm and soft. She looked up, her big blue eyes blank and serious as ever.
“Pfft——”
Kouya nearly keeled over, a shiver shooting down his spine like an arrow straight through the heart.
Damn it, you’re a dragon! Even if you’re just a baby dragon, can you not do something this ridiculously childish!? There was only a bit of cake on that finger! Are you secretly the kind who licks yogurt lids for fun!?
“What the hell are you doing!?”
He tried to pull back, but hesitated—too much force might hurt her. That half-second of hesitation cost him dearly. Her small tongue brushed against his skin, slick and smooth, and then wrapped around his finger. She began sucking lightly.
A jolt shot through him. Her tongue was warm, her breath soft, the sound embarrassingly wet.
“Let go already! You think this is a lollipop!?”
At that exact moment, fate decided to play its cruel joke. A passing couple walked by—and what they saw made them freeze mid-step, eyes wide as saucers.
“Holy shit! What are they doing!?”
From where they stood, it looked very wrong. Kouya stood tall, looming over the small girl with a grin that looked way too pleased, while the little loli crouched in front of him, head lowered, apparently… sucking on something. The worst part? Her face was exactly at that level—right between his legs.
The image alone could have launched a thousand lawsuits.
If someone uploaded this online, the title would practically write itself: ‘Outdoor Exposure: Loli A.V. Live!’
“Pervert! You sick freak! Even children aren’t safe from you!”
The girl, clearly the fiery type, stormed forward, fists clenched, righteous fury in her eyes.
Her boyfriend blinked in disbelief—then gave Kouya a subtle thumbs up, admiration and pity mixed in his gaze. ‘Damn, bro. You’ve ascended.’
Ascended your ass! Look properly before judging, will you!? And wipe that expression off your face! I’m not part of your damn club!
“You disgusting animal!” the girl shouted. “You made a little girl… you made her—” Her voice trembled in outrage, unable to even finish the sentence. “You deserve to hang!”
Kouya almost wanted to cry. “I’m telling you, you got it wrong!” He glared, face red. “She’s just biting my finger!”
The girl froze. She leaned closer, squinting—and sure enough, saw Kanna still nibbling lightly on his hand. Her expression softened, though her brows stayed furrowed. “Even so, that’s completely inappropriate! You probably lured her here with candy, didn’t you! You creep!”
She spun to Kanna. “Little girl! Just because he gave you snacks doesn’t mean he’s a good person! He forced you, didn’t he!? Tell me!”
Kanna didn’t answer. Calm as ever, she finished licking the crumbs off Kouya’s finger, then slowly pulled his hand away, a soft “pop” echoing between them.
A single string of saliva stretched between her mouth and his fingertip, glittering under the sunset in the most indecent way possible.
“You see that!?” The taekwondo girl shouted, shaking with fury. “That’s proof enough! You pervert! You monster who preys on little girls!” She grabbed Kouya by the collar, baring her teeth like she might bite into his neck. “Kousaka! Call the police! Now!”
Her boyfriend, Kousaka, hesitated but still reached for his phone.
Kouya sighed, half amused, half irritated. “I’m actually her cousin,” he said evenly. “If you don’t believe me, I’ll call her sister down right now.”
The girl’s grip loosened slightly. “…Fine. Call her.”
He dialed, and within minutes, Tohru came running down in a maid outfit, out of breath and panicked.
After a round of chaotic explanations, the couple finally understood their blunder. They stammered out apologies, faces red, and practically fled the park.
But not before the girl threw one last glare over her shoulder. “Even if she’s your cousin, that doesn’t make it okay! Loli-con is a crime! Minimum three years—maximum death penalty!”
Kouya stood there, deadpan, staring at the sky. “…How is this my fault again?”
A sigh escaped his lips as the last of the light faded. For some reason, that whole absurd exchange reminded him of a ridiculous news story he’d once read about a certain famous man—Hirotada Ototake.
The guy had written an autobiography called ‘No One’s Perfect.’ Born without limbs, married, successful… and somehow managed to cheat.
Not once, not twice—but with fifty women.
Before the scandal, he was a symbol of perseverance and willpower—a living inspiration. After the scandal? A living legend. The envy of every man alive.
When confronted, his defense became immortal on the internet:
“They started it! What could I do!?”
“I was helpless too!”
“Why didn’t you resist!?”
“Because… they covered my mouth. With their tongues.”
The internet exploded with laughter and disbelief. Memes, tributes, and even couplets flooded forums. Someone wrote:
Born with five limbs but lost four—truly, one limb reigns supreme.
Even without legs, still manages to cheat—truly, a master of art and sin.
Horizontal inscription: What a legend among men.
