Contrary to their tense expressions, Khal and Devion exuded a friendly demeanor. They suppressed their presence, expressing goodwill.

Once alone inside, and Ayen was not around, Khal and Devion’s demeanor changed slightly. The tension rose again, but since it was a serious meeting, the two government espers maintained their professional expressions.
