147 Who Sent Them Then?

Knowing she was going to come after her, Rong Yue didn’t even bother to use the elevator and instead entered the next meeting room first. It was only after she heard several steps move away that she stepped out and used the elevator to go back to the top floor.

“Manpower? Weren’t you the ones that sent them there?” He asked, his genuine expression and confusion sending Rong Yue off guard.

“What do you mean by I sent them there myself?” Rong Yue asked as her voice increased by an octave.

“Lu San informed me that you got a new group of men to assist with the work and that the ones you previously hired weren’t doing much there, so I told him to move those ones to the jewelry factory you are working on,”

Qin Yichen paused, his eyes searching her face while his mind was churning.

“Since you clearly didn’t send them there, then who did?”
