48 So Frightening

After eating to her heart content, Rong Xia wanted to do the dishes but was rejected by Qin Yichen and earned even more points in her heart.

On the other hand Rong Yue didn’t even request and just went to his sofa to lie down and sleep!

“Don’t wake her, I’m less busy anyway and she can just come back to meet you when she wakes up.” Qin Yichen said as he shot an helpless gaze at the girl.

For someone that usually looked like she had her guard up, she was sure comfortable around him.

Since she was asleep, Rong Xia went back up while Qin Yichen went into one of the room and brought a blanket out for her. After covering her gently, he called Lu San back inside.

“Do the dishes while I get some work done.” He told him simply not minding the look the young man had on his face.

Even though he had done all the running around, the boss had not even spared a potion for him.

He had been thinking that all that food were for the boss.

Just as he was about to enter the kitchen, he caught sight of a bundled figure in blanket making him turn back to get a look at the person.

Since her face was turned to the other side, he couldn’t see the face. But he could see that it was a girl with the hair that was turned towards him.

His boss had a girl inside his house!

His mind worked fast, after all, he was one of Qin Yichen’s top men and he had been following a certain girl for more than a week now.

“Big Bad Wolf?” Qin Yichen asked as he stood up, his face clouded In dissatisfaction.

“Hmmm, great master, that was something from my dream that you don’t have to bother about. Are you sure that you have to react this much to a dream.” She explained weakly, standing up and rushing to the back of the sofa.

She had always seen this young master as gentle and composed up until this morning. As for now?

He looked completely frightening that she felt like she was going to shit in her pants.

“Something from your dream? Can you tell me more about this dream?” He asked again closing the remaining gap between them while the girl yelped out.

Gone was the taste of food and the plan to hire this man, at the moment, she just wanted to run away and never look back again!

Qin Yichen smiled at her reaction and while it was a genuine smile, on that cold face, it became frightening and dangerous to Rong Yue.

To make matters worse, her running away had to come to an abrupt end as her back hit the wall making her eyes open widely.

Before she could turn around and use another route, the young man had caught up with her, trapping her between the wall and him.

“You don’t have to say too much. I saw when you woke up.”

Hearing his words, her face sank as she looked at him with pleading eyes. Currently, her chances of actually successfully overpowering a man like him was hard, after all, she had only trained for about four days at most and Qin Yichen had a really domineering build and size.

With her mind working in several directions, she looked around carefully, hoping to see something that could save her.

Before she could push her teeth to get to his lips, something crashed behind them making Qin Yichen to stop immediately and move her to his back.

“Ma…mas..” before Lu San could say a word, Qin Yichen interrupted him sharply.

“Get out if you are done.” He told him coldly not wanting Rong Yue to see his face.

Lu San immediately opened the door and left.

“Sorry, it’s the cleaning guy. Are you okay?” After he had gone, Qin Yichen immediately became someone else making Rong Yue surprised.

He had simply changed from being a frightening bad wolf to being a considerate young master!

Shock and doubt flooded her face as she nodded.

“I’m fine.” The anger she should have from the young man who had just kissed her was gone as she watched him head into the kitchen and clean up the broken ceramic.

Lu San that had just been chased out was in a even worse situation.

He had simply remembered the painting from the day before when he saw the style on the ceramic and wanted to tell him that he had kept the painting.

Never would he have imagined that he would come across the image of his master kissing a woman!

Previously, she had accepted a job that needed her to send it in urgently yesterday. She had not expected that she would eat and just sleep off like that in that man’s house.

But at the thought of the delicacy she had eaten, she smiled while entering the code to her house.

“You are awake.” Rong Xia said as she saw the little money grubber.

“Hmmm, you could have just woken me up, wasn’t it you that asked me to not stay alone with a guy.” She asked her mom, looking at her suspiciously.

“You looked like you needed the sleep and I know he can’t harm you.”

Rong Yue wanted to choke on her spit.

Without saying much, she went up to her room and immediately started the computer. Immediately, the sounds of several notifications alert that she had already set rang out repeatedly from the laptop.

For all her works, she had fixed a certain sound to alert her so she could know when she got a job.
