The front door opened, and the butler stepped down to open the door for her.

He was used to Rong Yue not being a person of plenty words and so he didn’t mind that he got no reply.

The man in the car, however, was able to sense her sour mood the moment she entered the car.

“Has it been sorted?” Even though he had gotten updates from Minister Zhang’s secretary, Qin Yichen still wanted to hear it from her.

“Hmmm, the police has taken the brother and mother away. Tong Yang is still deluded and thinks that I caused what happened to her,”

Qin Yichen nodded in understanding, he had met many people and shameless people were not hard to find. He pulled out a box from the middle space of the car and raised the partition.

“You have been gone all morning, you should eat first.”

As the fragrance of the pastries filled the car, Rong Yue’s brows that were drawn together loosened and she smiled softly.

Even though he was unpacking the box, Qin Yichen’s eyes didn’t leave her for one bit and as soon as he saw her smile, he stopped what he was doing and looked for a while more.

Rong Yue barely smiled. It was hard to notice as she had a peerlessly beautiful face. Just by sitting and keeping a blank expression, she already looked very charming.

After inserting a straw for her, he passed her the first cup of milk shake.

The box was specially arranged with one section for cups of drinks and the other one filled with varieties of pastries.

Everything in the box were things that she liked but as he wasn’t sure of what she would want in this moment, he had made them prepare everything.

“If you don’t want the strawberry flavor, you can take another one,” he told her as he put two mooncake on a paper plate.

Rong Yue said nothing and instead took a long sip from the milkshake.

Her eyes brightened and she shook her head sideways twice.

“It’s just perfect.”

Seeing that she liked it, Qin Yichen passed the paper plate to her and then picked his laptop back to continue working.

However, after like two minutes, a moon cake blocked his line of view.

“You should eat some too,” Rong Yue said. Although she wasn’t smiling anymore, her face was a lot brighter than when she entered the car.

Qin Yichen smiled at her concern for him. But instead of taking a bite, he used his hand to grab the half eaten one in her hands.

He was not a fan of sweet things and although he didn’t mind to eat it once in a while, he only bought them because of her.

Now that she wanted to share, he only wanted the one she had eaten from!

Rong Yue glared at him but didn’t argue, instead, she held the half eaten cake as he took a bite and then held it in front of his mouth till he ate the last bite.

“This one is vanilla, you would like it,” she passed him the milkshake that she felt was the least sugary before she went back to eat.

Although they weren’t talking or doing anything else, the air between them was good and Qin Yichen had a broad smile on his face the whole time.

By the time they got back home, Rong Yue had dozed off in the car.

Qin Yichen wasn’t surprised as he knew she had a habit of napping after eating a meal. This time, she had taken two cups of milkshakes and ate about four pastries.

He had even made the butler drive slower after she slept off.

Rong Yue stirred a little in his embrace as he carried her out of the car before sleeping back.

As soon as Rong Yue entered, Manager Bai that had been sent for by Qin Yichen stood up in a rush.

“President Qin,”

Qin Yichen gave him a glare that made Manager Bai shut up and keep quiet.

However, just when he got to the foot of the stairs, Rong Yue woke up.

“Did I hear Manager Bai’s voice just now?”

“I invited him over so that you could discuss matters with him as soon as you get back,”

He knew that she wanted to launch infinity in a week’s time and then do the public launching after three weeks of stabilizing things.

Even for a big corporation like the Qin Corporation, that was a short time so he understood how busy she was.

Now that she had to take time out for the result matter, he had gotten Lu San to send Manager Bai over after discussing with him.

Rong Yue’s heart warmed and she sent him a grateful glance before walking to Manager Bai.

“Manager Bai, sorry for the disruption, I had some urgent matters to handle,”

Qin Yichen nodded and brought her bag to her. She had packed it earlier this morning before she found out that she had to deal with Tong Yang’s matter.

Manager Bai greeted Qin Yichen one more time before stepping out with her.

As soon as they left Qin Yichen’s oppressive aura, Manager Bai returned to normal and got into work mode.

“Boss, even though we haven’t launched the other two locations, news is starting to spread and in the last two days, I have gotten several emails from companies and individuals that want to invest.”

He knew that they didn’t need funding for the arcade centers but the new project that Rong Yue wanted to launch was huge, he wasn’t sure that their earnings would be enough for it.

At first, he had made a document that analysed the best people they could work with, but after meeting Qin Yichen, he felt that the document wasn’t necessary.
