The next day, Rong Yue and Qin Yichen settled back into their usual routine without any conversation about the previous night.

She had at first worried that things would be awkward, but when she came downstairs, Qin Yichen was done setting the table for their breakfast as usual.

Qin Heng was the first to see her, and he greeted her happily, “Good morning!”

“He doesn’t. But he has no choice,” what Qin Yichen didn’t add was that this was his responsibility at this age, and there was no way the family would be okay with him missing out on it.

The three of them ate breakfast silently, and Lu San came in when they were almost done.

These days, it was just like Rong Yue had become his new boss. Together with Butler Yang, they often went out together and handled matters.

Normally, the minister would have released her details and allowed the top schools to bargain for which school she would pick.

But since he had gotten an initial instruction from Qin Yichen, he didn’t dare to release her personal details to them. However, the pressure was a lot and he called Qin Yichen often.

Rong Yue shrugged, the decision not as important to her, “I don’t know, the imperial university seems okay,”

She had graduated from university in her previous life already and she wasn’t exactly looking forward to the experience again.
