22 Chapter Twenty Two: What is Your Name?

Qin Yichen carefully opened the door as he got back from all the contract signing. Unlike when they had just arrived, he could already smell the signature scent that accompanied the little girl.

Somehow, despite all the fragrances and perfumes he had been exposed to since he was young, he felt like nothing seemed to compare to how Rong Yue smelled.

She smelled like a mixture of sweet and nature, a very relaxing scent that didn’t match how sly he had come to understand her as.

The house was quiet and it was almost as if there was no one in there.

“Master, she chose your bedroom and since you said we couldn’t appear before her, there was no way to stop her.” One of his guards that had stayed here to make sure that no one was tracking him came out from the shadows.

“Hmmm, leave it that way.” Qin Yichen said as a picture of her in his bed crossed his mind.

In reality, he had only stayed here for a week previously, when he had monitored the construction of many of their company projects here in A city. As he was here now, he suddenly felt a sudden reluctance to leave.

Before long, he had covered the distance between the living room and her room. Seeing as no sound was coming from the room, he opened the door gently and peeped inside.

A certain kind of calm came upon him as he saw her all curled up in those same sheets that he had once used to sleep.

Instead of turning back, he tiptoed into the room making sure he made no noise as he shut the door back and then sat on the bed beside the little girl.

In the past three days of staying with her, he had felt a certain connection to her, something he had first put off as him being grateful to her, however, even after he had given them the house, and even sent her more than she had demanded, he was reluctant to part with her.

Rong Yue who was deep sleep, suddenly stirred as a frown crossed those perfect features while drawing her brows together.

Almost instinctivel, Qin Yichen raised his hand and used it to smoothen the frown between her brows very gently. However, instead of relieving her, Rong Yue frowned harder.

“Yang’er don’t do this!” She murmured as she turned in her sleep making the covers fall down slightly from her body.

Since she hadn’t been planning to sleep off, she had worn a very simple dress that had low neck line, the dress had at some point slipped below her neck and now revealed her white milky skin and a little cleavage to Qin Yichen whose ears reddened immediately.

For someone that had practiced total abstinence for more than twenty five years, his reaction to her was extreme as he immediately felt his lower body react to the beauty in front of him.

“Yang’er! They would kill me!” She screamed and then woke up with startle. Her reaction had however made Qin Yichen who had been watching her frown slighty.

“Yang’er?” He murmured as he wondered what she could have seen that had made her act that extreme.

“What are you doing here?” Yong Yue asked, pushing her nightmare to one side as she looked at Qin Yichen with caution and apprehension.

“I brought the contract over, I just got here and heard you call for me.” Qin Yichen replied shamelessly.

“What’s your name?” She asked curiously while eyeing him suspiciously. She didn’t know his name so it was impossible that she was calling his name, the only way it was possible was if he had a name similar to Tong Yang’er name.

“Qin Yichen.”

“Qin Yichen?” She felt like this was a name she was quite familiar with and yet couldn’t remember where she had heard it from.

“Hmmm.”

“What do you mean by that, I don’t know your name neither does your name sound like the witch I was seeing in my dream.” She scoffed shooting him a disdainful look at catching him lying.

“You were probably being told my name by that witch.” Qin Yichen replied shamelessly, his face devoid of any emotion which made it seem like he was speaking nothing but the truth.

“Have you brought the contract papers over?” Yong Yue asked, changing the conversation.

Qin Yichen nodded and then passed her the brown envelope that he had dropped on the bed just now.

Silence descended in the room, both of their breaths forming a rhythmic pattern as Rong Yue read through the contract carefully.

Since she was a fast reader and her brain was automatically scanning the document, she was done in less than fifteen minutes.

However, as she wanted to stand up so she could sign it, she realized that she had been dressed in nothing more than a short dress that had even come down while she was sleeping. She pulled her dress up hurriedly along with the covers while shooting the man in front of her a glare.

“Shameless!” She thought in her mind unable to say it with how the man was looking at the moment.

“Please leave the room, I’ll be with you in a moment.”

Qin Yichen nodded and then stood up while the corners of his lips raised up. He had no intention of staying while she stood up, after all, he had proper upbringing. But seeing how the girl who was usually so fierce and sly become flushed and embarrassed had been quite pleasing to see.

As soon as he left, Rong Yue hurriedly wore more comfortable clothes and found a pen from her school bag that was hanging beside her dressing table.

One had to admit that the people that worked with Qin z Yichen were all experts.

They had been able to make her room look youthful and at the same time still have elements of someone that was coming out of their youthfulness making it suit her perfectly.

While they signed the contract, the school was in another state entirely.
