Even Sun Li turned to look at Rong Yue in suspicion. “Did that guy just wink at you?” She asked, her eyes revealing her worry.

Qin Yichen came when the event had started and all of the reporters were already inside. However, there were some bystanders outside that saw this man with an appearance that was even better than Mo Yifan enter the store.

“Seems like another big shot has arrived! Who is he?” Someone asked, their eyes shining with gossip.

However, Qin Yichen had really come in a low key manner. By the time people noticed him slipping in, he was already at the entrance. In the end, someone that wanted to take picture only managed to get his back view.

When he entered the hall, Mayor Bo and some others that had met him physically immediately stood up to greet him.

Although he wasn’t the president, the influence the Qin Family held in the country was massive and even the president would think twice when matters concerned them.

Also, their foreign influence was even more frightening making them a person that a lot of people respected.

Rong Yue looked at him from where she was, her eyes taking in the familiar figure and she didn’t even realise that her eyes had softened.

“Seems like someone has been putting in too much effort behind my back?” A low and husky voice said behind her startling Rong Yue.

She rolled her eyes as she turned and met Mo Yifan standing behind her.

“It’s only been a month since I last met you and you seem to have given your heart away, was I not clear about my intentions well enough?” Mo Yifan continued, his hands stretched forward as though he wanted to touch her.

Rong Yue stepped back, avoiding contact with him.

“It’s rumored that Young Master Mo hates human contact the most,”

“It seems like we really cannot believe what the rumors says.”

Seeing her angry and fierce expression, Mo Yifan smiled even harder. “There’s no way you expect me to stay away from my woman to be,”

Rong Yue rolled her eyes and stepped back even more.

“Please watch your words, people that don’t know would misunderstand,”

Thankfully, the store launch was filled with more of the older generations and there was not a lot of looking around. But even then, Mo Yifan’s closeness to Rong Yue already made the Song siblings uncomfortable. After all, they knew who the man was.

Also, Song Jian felt a little guilty as he felt that it was because of him that she had interacted with a man like this.

“I seem to remember Miss Yue threatening to kill my men, I already asked the others to dig a large grave for them in advance,” Mo Yifan said his eyes swirling with mischief.

Before Rong Yue could reply, another voice interrupted. “The grave would still serve its purpose if they don’t disappear along with you after tonight,” Qin Yichen said with venom sipping through his words.

He had always considered himself a gentleman, but just seeing how close Mo Yifan was standing to his Xiao Yue made him want to send him flying across the room.

However, unlike normal people, Mo Yifan didn’t seem to be affected by Qin Yichen’s threat. Instead, he straightened up and met his gaze.

“Despite how hard you tried to keep me away from being here today, it’s nice to meet you again, Young Master Qin,” Mo Yifan said with his hands extended out for an handshake.

Rong Yue looked between both men, a little confused as her mind worked at a speed of light.

It was not hard for her to understand what was happening after some minutes. Clearly, Qin Yichen had guessed that Mo Yifan would make an appearance here and tried to stop him in advance.

Just thinking about it made the corners of her lips raise with a smile.
