Although, it did seem a little weird that even after such a win like this, her family hadn’t rushed out to congratulate her.

“Mmmm, I would meet you back there.” She answered and then waved them bye.

As soon as the bus left, she entered the car using the key that she had collected from teacher Lu earlier and sat inside for a while.

She had known him for more than four months now. And even if her heart had been locked, she wasn’t stupid and she knew exactly how Qin Yichen felt this whole time.

He had gone from being sorry that he became a burden to taking an interest in her.

At this point, she was certain that something had happened, and she needed to know what.

The conversation was brief and she hung up as her words fell.

The elevator stopped in front of the penthouse at the exact same time and she dashed out of it and entered into their house.

Like the cautious person she was, when she entered the house, she calmly searched around with her mind on full alertness and it was only when she confirmed that neither Qin Yichen or anyone else had been here since they left that she entered her room.

“Where are you Qin Yichen?” she mumbled to herself as she opened her laptop, ready to work.
