Min Chong stiffened. “He is that strong?”

“Yes.” The guardian’s tone turned serious. “He is merely a Martial Saint. Yet Reily was pushed back twice.”

Silence filled the chamber.

Min Chong’s face paled slightly. “I see… Then it was wise to seek your assistance.”

He stood and bowed faintly, despite being the Family Head.

The guards shuddered.

The guardians turned and left with Min Chong.

Behind them, the heavy prison doors slammed shut.

A formation circle lit up around the cell Logan was thrown into.

Time ticked by, dark clouds gathering in the sky. A storm was about to come. A storm that would shake the entire spirit mountain that had been silent for ages.
