Maria was trying to comprehend the scale of what was happening. Everything she had seen up to this point could still be called relatively normal. Even though Alex had told her about the power possessed by the Great Ones, seeing with her own eyes how space itself cracked after every strike was something else entirely.

Watching the power displayed by the Orphan of Kos, Maria couldn’t help but wonder what would have happened if they had allowed this creature to be born properly. The scale of the battle in the sea still left an indelible impression on her. She was fully aware that this was not something she could interfere with or help in any way.

Maria didn’t know exactly how strong Alex was, but seeing him fight such a being made her realize just how powerful he truly was. Even though the battle was taking place far out at sea, Maria could still see all the consequences of their clash. The same applied to Alucard, who was witnessing such a battle for the first time.

As a Nosferatu, Alucard could clearly perceive exactly how the fight between Alex and the Orphan of Kos was progressing. But instead of shock or surprise, Alucard felt only a strong desire to fight such an enemy herself. However, she understood that it was still too early for her to participate in something like this.

Only Zhang Ya remained, as always, perfectly calm, simply observing what was happening in the sea. She had already witnessed battles like this more than once, so she merely waited for Alex to finish so she could return to his shadow.

The three women continued to watch the battle in the sea in complete silence. The fight went on, and Maria could only notice how everything would suddenly go quiet for a moment before flaring up with renewed force. She saw a tall pillar of water shoot up from beneath the sea, with a faint pale silhouette hovering above it.

Maria couldn’t help but wonder how difficult it was to kill such a creature. She was certain that someone like her would never be able to handle something like this. Maria narrowed her eyes slightly as she saw a bolt of lightning flash across the sea’s surface, instantly closing in on the silhouette.

“Is this thing really that hard to kill?” Maria asked, staring at what was happening in the sea.

“Nope. Daddy’s just waiting,” a cheerful childish voice sounded nearby.

“Or maybe he’s just having fun. Daddy hasn’t fought something like this in a long time,” another childish voice added.

“Daddy’s waiting for this thing to grow into a giant thing so he can smash it real good. We need to blow everything up here. Hehehehe, it’s gonna be awesome,” said a third childish voice, accompanied by manic laughter.

“Hehehe, I agree. We need to blow everything up here,” came a fourth childish voice with a gremlin-like giggle.

Hearing the unfamiliar children’s voices, Maria turned her head and saw four girls around seven years old sitting on chairs and holding strange snacks in their hands. Maria stared at the four girls with different hair colors, all dressed in outfits resembling school uniforms.

Standing behind the girls was a tall man in a butler’s uniform, wearing a monocle, with his hair neatly combed back and tied into a small ponytail, his hands clasped behind his back.

While Maria tried to figure out where such a strange group of children had come from in this place, Alucard watched the scene with a faint smile on her face. Her gaze slid over Anya, Nyaruko, Jinx, and Tina, then moved to Walter, who stood with an impassive expression.

“I see you’re enjoying your new job, Walter,” Alucard said, looking at him.

Hearing Alucard’s voice, Walter slowly turned his head, removed his monocle, and gently wiped it. A slight smile appeared on his face as he put the monocle back on. As for Anya, Nyaruko, Tina, and Jinx — they were already completely wrapped in Zhang Ya’s hair, turned into four cocoons of black strands, laughing loudly. Maria immediately noticed that these four children and their supposed butler were familiar with both Zhang Ya and Alucard.

“As you can see, Lady Alucard, even though I was exiled from the Hellsing Organization… taking care of these four young ladies truly brings me pleasure,” Walter said with a calm smile, glancing at the four girls.

“Uncle Walter, I told you not to call me ‘young lady’… It’s just gross,” Jinx complained from inside her cocoon of hair.

“Yeah, yeah. It’s creepy. I asked you to call me the super cute Princess of Bloody Crumpets and Grenades,” Tina said, poking her hand out of the hair cocoon.

“I’m afraid Lady Alcina would not approve of that, young lady Tina,” Walter replied with a professional smile.

“Tch… Lame. Mom, comfort me. I’m a princess, why can’t I be the Princess of Bloody Crumpets and Grenades? It sounds so cool,” Tina whined, rubbing her cheek against Zhang Ya’s hair.

Zhang Ya looked at Tina with a calm gaze and gently rubbed her cheeks with her hair, soothing her daughter. At that moment, Maria was completely bewildered. Out in the sea, a battle was still raging that made space itself tremble, with thick pillars of lightning striking down and explosions raising massive waves.

Yet right here, just a few meters away from her, four little girls were cheerfully jumping around Alucard, demanding to see her fangs and guns. Maria kept shifting her gaze between the sea and the girls. Everything felt completely unreal. It was as if two different worlds had overlapped.

Compared to everything she had learned about the Great Ones and this dimension, the sudden appearance of four playful children seemed like the most absurd and unnatural thing she had encountered all day.

Maria stared unblinking at the four girls tugging on Alucard’s coat and couldn’t help thinking that perhaps this current situation was the most normal thing she had learned about this place so far. The sight of the four playful girls who paid no attention to the battle brought a faint smile to Maria’s face.

“Mommy Dracula, show us your teeth. Are they like Daddy’s or like Mommy Seras’s?” Nyaruko asked with a wide grin, tugging on the edge of Alucard’s coat.

“And I want to see your familiars,” Anya said, staring intently at Alucard.

“Guns! Show us your guns! Let me see, let me see!” Jinx and Tina shouted, jumping around Alucard.

Alucard looked at the four girls with a calm gaze, watching them pull at her coat and hop around her. She hadn’t expected dealing with her supposed daughters to be this difficult. Fortunately for Alucard, a loud explosion sounded from the sea, immediately drawing the four girls’ attention and stopping their demands.

Everyone’s gazes instantly shifted back to the sea. They saw the storm clouds in the sky disperse after the impact, and tall waves rose up, crashing against an invisible barrier near the shore. The sea and the beach fell into complete silence until suddenly an earthquake struck, cracking the rocks on the beach.

“Finally something interesting. Uncle Walter, get the popcorn,” Jinx said, jumping onto her chair.

“And strawberry soda!” Tina shouted, leaping onto the chair next to Jinx.

Anya and Nyaruko sat back in their places, ready to watch something even more exciting. Walter, ever the perfect butler, calmly produced popcorn and soda for his four young ladies. The girls already understood that the battle was about to become much larger and more spectacular. Thanks to their own powers, they could sense that a very large creature was about to emerge from under the sea.

Maria grew slightly tense from the earthquake, but seeing how carefree the four girls were behaving helped calm her down a little. Alucard, on the other hand, showed strong interest in the creature that was about to appear from the sea.

A moment later, another earthquake shook the area. Along with it, a very tall creature slowly rose from beneath the seawater — one the size of a small mountain. Everyone watched what the Orphan of Kos had transformed into.

It was a colossal being covered in armor made of shells and coral, with countless eyes and mouths scattered across its entire body. The eyes on the giant’s body darted around uncontrollably, while the mouths all over its form seemed to be chewing on something. Dozens of tentacles covered in sharp coral growths swayed slowly behind the creature’s back.

The wings growing from its back resembled enormous fins with sharp edges. With every flap, they created powerful gusts of wind that raised tall waves. The head of this gigantic creature was covered with numerous tentacles hanging from its face, resembling those of an octopus or jellyfish, and its eyes burned with a bright red glow.

“It’s a kaiju… This thing looks almost exactly like that big lizard we wanted to steal,” Nyaruko said with sparkling eyes as she stared at the giant.

“But Mommy Brunhilde, Mommy Alcina, and Mommy Yuriko said we don’t need something like that at home,” Tina clicked her tongue.

“The other moms also said we don’t need Godzilla. They said we already bring home too many pets, and Daddy does the same,” Anya nodded, popping another piece of popcorn into her mouth.

The four girls nodded in unison and sighed heavily, disappointed that they hadn’t managed to convince their mothers about Godzilla. Walter, standing behind the four girls, remained impassive, though a rare drop of sweat rolled down his cheek. It had been a week since he started following these four girls, and he had already visited many places and seen other worlds.

But everything always came down to the four gremlins constantly trying to steal something or finding trouble where it was impossible to find it. At that moment, Walter didn’t even want to know what kind of creature Godzilla was or why Anya, Nyaruko, Jinx, and Tina had wanted to kidnap it.

Alucard, hearing the girls’ discussion, thought it was perfectly normal to take whatever they wanted — even if it was a giant monster. Maria, for her part, tried to ignore the strange conversation and continued watching the gigantic monster in the sea.

Meanwhile, out at sea, Alex stood on the surface of the raging ocean, looking at this pathetic parody of Cthulhu. By this point, he had stopped even trying to understand how the Orphan of Kos’s evolution worked. All he saw was a colossal creature that needed to be killed.

What he was glad about was that he had set up a barrier on the shore so the massive waves wouldn’t reach the beach. Lighting another cigarette, Alex leaped backward, dodging the giant Orphan of Kos’s foot. The creature’s foot slammed down where Alex had been standing with such force that it raised gigantic waves and caused an earthquake.

After dodging, Alex found himself in the sky, standing on space itself at the same height as the Orphan of Kos’s head.

“So what am I supposed to do with you?” Alex asked, stroking his chin.

Alex was already used to dealing with enemies of such colossal size and always preferred to kill them in various creative ways. While stroking his chin, he slightly leaned to the side, and the space behind him cracked as the Orphan of Kos’s gaze turned toward him.

Turning his head back and looking at the crack in space, Alex extended his hand and clenched his fist, sealing the rift. After closing the tear, he shifted his gaze back to the Orphan of Kos. The creature raised its enormous hand and swung it at Alex to grab him. Just as the giant palm was about to touch him, Alex simply ran his finger from top to bottom.

With a short swipe of his finger, the Orphan of Kos’s giant arm was neatly severed and fell into the sea. But this time, the loss of a limb had no effect on the creature, and a new arm began to grow in its place. Watching the arm regenerate, Alex narrowed his eyes, thinking of a spectacular way to finish off the Orphan of Kos.

While Alex was lost in thought, he began to hear children’s shouts coming from the beach. Hearing voices that sounded like his daughters, Alex turned his gaze toward the shore.

“Daddy, kaiju battle!” Jinx yelled, waving something that looked like a poster.

“Giant battle! We want an epic giant battle!” Tina shouted, waving her own poster.

Alex stared blankly at his daughters, who were standing on the beach waving posters with childish drawings of giant creatures fighting in the sea. He pursed his lips and shifted his gaze to Alucard, who simply smiled and shrugged.

Then Alex looked at Zhang Ya, who immediately wrapped the four gremlins in her hair and pulled them back. She seated the four little troublemakers back in their places, not letting them move.

While Alex was distracted by his daughters, the Orphan of Kos managed to attack him. Alex felt the space around him crack as the creature’s giant palm nearly grabbed him. He spun around sharply and threw a punch forward. At that exact moment, a massive hole appeared in the center of the Orphan of Kos’s giant body, which immediately began to regenerate.

After Alex’s strike, the Orphan of Kos staggered backward, falling into the sea while clutching the huge hole in its chest. Looking once again at the size of the Orphan of Kos — which resembled a three-hundred-meter-tall mountain — Alex remembered his daughters’ words and their desire to see a kaiju battle.

“Alright… Since my little princesses want a kaiju battle, I’ll give them one,” Alex said, making his decision.

He already had a creature in mind that he could summon to fight the Orphan of Kos. And he was certain that this being would gladly battle something like the Orphan of Kos.

Cracking his neck slightly, Alex raised his hand above his head and smiled widely. Magical energy began to pour out of his body, distorting the space around him, and the sky above started to crack.

“Litar de: Ddraig,” Alex chanted, summoning the creature for battle.

The moment he finished the incantation, a stream of magical energy rushed toward the spatial crack in the sky. The sky cracked louder, and the fissure widened even further. Above the crack appeared a hundred-meter-wide red magic circle with a dragon emblem on it.

The magic circle began to shine with a bright red light, illuminating the entire area. First to emerge from the circle was a large dragon’s head with long red horns, sharp teeth, and green eyes. Then came a massive, long neck covered in dense scales. Next appeared a long, muscular body with powerful limbs and large claws.

Finally, a thick dragon tail with a sharp spike at the end emerged from the portal. This dragon was Y Ddraig Goch, whom Alex had once summoned to test a spell. Back then, he had only called forth the basic form and formed a temporary contract. This time, Alex had summoned the complete Ddraig, restoring his full physical body.

Ddraig didn’t understand what was happening at first. All he felt was a familiar connection, and then he suddenly found himself in this place.

“Where am I? And why do I have my body back?” Ddraig asked, looking at his dragon claws.

“I summoned you,” a very familiar male voice answered.

Hearing that voice, Ddraig immediately turned toward it and saw Alex. Even though Alex was wearing different clothes, Ddraig could never forget a being like him. How could he forget the strongest creature he had ever known? Noticing Ddraig’s gaze, Alex smirked slightly and instantly disappeared from his spot, reappearing on top of Ddraig’s head.

Ddraig felt Alex’s presence on his head but said nothing about it. At this moment, the dragon pride of one of the Heavenly Dragons meant nothing in front of a being like Alex. Looking around once more, Ddraig tried to understand what kind of place this was.

Everything he saw, including the eerie yellow sun with black veins in the sky, could only be described as a Nightmare world. Sensing the atmosphere of this place, Ddraig exhaled flames through his nostrils, disgusted by the foul smell in the air.

“What kind of dump is this, King? Don’t tell me this is the world you were trying to protect?” Ddraig asked, looking around with his dragon eyes.

“Ah, right. I forgot — we have a different contract now. Let me help you,” Alex said, crouching down to place his hand on Ddraig’s head.

The moment Alex’s palm touched the huge dragon head, Ddraig’s eyes narrowed to slits as a flood of information about this world, the Nightmare dimension, the Great Ones, and many other things filled his mind. Learning why he had been summoned and that his body had been restored, Ddraig raised his dragon maw to the sky and burst into loud laughter, flapping his wings.

Along with his laughter, a pillar of flame erupted from his mouth into the sky. In addition to information about this world, Ddraig also learned what else Alex had done. For him, only a little over a month had passed since Alex last summoned him, while nearly a year had passed for Alex.

But what brought Ddraig the most pleasure was that he would get to fight a deity from another world. It was another chance to brag to his old rival. Stopping his laughter, Ddraig lowered his head and turned toward the beach.

He saw three women looking at him with different expressions. Ddraig flinched slightly when his gaze focused on Zhang Ya. He had not forgotten what happened to him in Alex’s spiritual world when he had been too noisy.

Swallowing nervously, Ddraig quickly looked away. He then focused on the four girls, who were staring at him with sparkling eyes. Seeing that gaze, a desire to show off his power to Alex’s daughters awakened inside Ddraig.

“Hahaha. I’m ready to fight this God, partner. Where is that ugly creature? I’ll show him what a true Heavenly Dragon is made of!” Ddraig roared with laughter, spitting streams of flame from his mouth with every word.

“I’m glad you’re so enthusiastic. If only you weren’t doing it just to brag later,” Alex said in a mocking tone.

“Last time you only summoned my soul. Now I can show my true power,” Ddraig said, raising his dragon claw and giving a thumbs-up, flashing his sharp dragon teeth.

“Then… there’s your opponent, Ddraig,” Alex said, jumping onto Ddraig’s snout and pointing in the right direction.

Ddraig turned his head and saw the colossal creature that had risen from the sea. Ddraig himself was a hundred meters long, while the Orphan of Kos in its giant form stood over three hundred meters tall. Instead of fear, Ddraig grinned widely, baring his dragon fangs. Flapping his wings and creating a powerful gust of wind, Ddraig instantly appeared beside the Orphan of Kos. He spread his claws and sank them into the creature’s flesh.

The Orphan of Kos’s body was covered in coral and scale armor, hiding soft flesh beneath. Digging his claws into the flesh, Ddraig yanked his arm sharply, tearing off a large section of coral armor from the creature’s chest and leaving long claw marks from shoulder to stomach. Pieces of coral armor fell into the water, creating waves, but not a single drop of blood flowed from the claw wounds.

Alex, standing on Ddraig’s head, lit a cigarette and exhaled smoke upward.

“I don’t want to remind you… but he’s hard on the outside and jelly-like on the inside. So you’ll have to work hard to actually damage him,” Alex said, flicking ash onto Ddraig’s head.

Hearing Alex’s words, Ddraig saw that the wounds from his claws had almost instantly healed, and new coral growths had already sprouted from the flesh to serve as armor. Narrowing his eyes, Ddraig’s claws began to glow with a green light.

Before Ddraig could strike again, the Orphan of Kos let out a thunderous roar that sent him flying backward. Ddraig raised his arms in front of himself, feeling the impact with his entire dragon body. He lowered his arms and lightly flicked his tail, reassessing the strength of the creature before him.

“I told you… you’d have to try harder,” Alex said, exhaling cigarette smoke and flicking more ash onto Ddraig’s head.

“I already realized the opponent won’t be easy, partner… But could you please stop flicking ash on my head?” Ddraig said, flapping his wings to stay airborne.

“I’ll think about it… Now, my Pokémon. Use Fire Claw Strike,” Alex said, pointing at the Orphan of Kos.

“I’m not some Pokémon… I’m at least a legendary Pokémon!” Ddraig shouted, instantly closing the distance and swinging his claw.

Ddraig’s claws ignited with bright flames, and he struck the Orphan of Kos’s face. The flaming claws dug into the creature’s face, making it literally boil from the heat. Ddraig yanked his claw back, tearing off part of the Orphan of Kos’s face. Without stopping, he swung his other claw, clenched into a fist.

The clenched fist glowed with a bright green light. Ddraig delivered another strike to the Orphan of Kos’s head. From the second blow, the creature’s head exploded, scattering jelly-like pieces in all directions. After destroying the head, Ddraig sank his claws into the Orphan of Kos’s shoulders and opened his maw.

Crimson flames began to condense in Ddraig’s mouth, heating the air so intensely that the seawater started to evaporate. At that moment, Ddraig exhaled dragon flame that resembled crimson plasma. The dragon breath burned a hole through the Orphan of Kos’s chest, evaporating a large section of seawater.

Without stopping his dragon breath, Ddraig raised his head, burning away the upper part of the Orphan of Kos’s body. After the dragon breath, almost the entire upper body of the Orphan of Kos had disappeared, leaving only its arms, which were held in place by the coral armor.

“Even a creature like this couldn’t withstand a dragon’s flame,” Ddraig said in a contemptuous tone.

“Dragon pride has turned you into an idiot, Ddraig,” Alex said, exhaling cigarette smoke.

Before Ddraig could react, one of the surviving arms of the Orphan of Kos rose. Ddraig barely had time to see the massive hand appear right in front of his face. He didn’t manage to raise his arm in defense before he was struck directly in the face. The impact sent Ddraig flying backward. Flapping his wings, he stopped himself and felt the blow.

Slightly moving his neck, Ddraig understood why he had been called an idiot. He hadn’t expected a creature that had lost its head and part of its vital organs to still be able to attack. Feeling a strange taste in his mouth, Ddraig reached into his maw with his claw and pulled out a broken tooth. Looking at the knocked-out tooth in his palm, Ddraig grinned and clenched his fist.

“Interesting. It seems I’ve lost a bit of my edge after spending so much time in the Sacred Gear. To think some rootless trash could actually hurt me… What was it you say, King?” Ddraig asked, looking at the rapidly regenerating Orphan of Kos.

“Give it everything you’ve got?” Alex clarified, crouching on Ddraig’s head.

“Yes. Time to give it maximum dragon effort,” Ddraig said, nodding.

“Just don’t throw the tooth away. I’ll make a weapon out of it later. It’s not every day you get such valuable material,” Alex said, patting Ddraig’s head.

“Here, partner. It’s the least I can give you for the chance to fight such a creature,” Ddraig said, raising his claw with the tooth toward Alex.

Alex immediately stored Ddraig’s tooth in his inventory for later use. By this point, the Orphan of Kos had finished regenerating and was fully restored. Ddraig now looked at the Orphan of Kos with a much more serious gaze and no longer intended to underestimate his opponent.

A crimson aura began to emanate from Ddraig’s body, heating the surrounding air. Every flap of his wings sent powerful gusts of hot wind toward the Orphan of Kos. At the same moment, Ddraig’s power began to increase rapidly as he activated his innate Boost ability, which doubled his strength with each use.

“Are you ready, Ddraig?” Alex asked, observing the changes in Ddraig’s body.

“Yes. Like I said — time to get serious,” Ddraig replied, leaning forward.

At that moment, his wings produced a loud clap, and he vanished from his spot. Ddraig appeared right next to the Orphan of Kos, and a crimson sphere formed in his claw. The Orphan of Kos reacted instantly and swung its enormous arm at Ddraig. Gripping the crimson sphere, Ddraig used his second ability — Penetration, which allowed him to ignore the enemy’s armor and deal direct damage to the body.

At that moment, Ddraig’s arm became covered in crimson flames and collided with the giant arm of the Orphan of Kos. The moment the two fists met in the air, a loud explosion rang out, pushing the seawater in all directions. The Orphan of Kos’s arm was instantly destroyed, and Ddraig didn’t wait — he delivered the next strike. He began raining blow after blow on the Orphan of Kos’s body, destroying every piece of it.

The Orphan of Kos wasn’t going to just endure the attacks and began striking back. Alex, who had been sitting on Ddraig’s head, grew tired of the shaking and leaped to a safe distance. Once at a comfortable range, Alex watched as Ddraig beat down the Orphan of Kos while the creature tried to fight back. Alex summoned Chastiefol and sat on the flying spear.

“The difference in experience is enormous. Ddraig fought that white idiot for a very long time… This bastard doesn’t stand a chance. It’s hard to use your power when a Heavenly Dragon keeps destroying your body,” Alex commented while sitting on Chastiefol.

The Orphan of Kos could summon natural phenomena with its power and crack space itself with its strikes. But against Ddraig, who had vast combat experience, the Orphan of Kos could do nothing but try to resist.

Trying to fight off Ddraig’s attacks, the Orphan of Kos used the appendages on its back to bind the dragon. The tentacles instantly shot toward Ddraig and began wrapping around his body. Ddraig tore at the tentacles with his claws, but gradually his body became tightly bound. Ddraig felt some kind of liquid dripping down his scales.

“Pathetic bastard, your poison won’t get through my scales,” Ddraig said contemptuously.

Ddraig’s body instantly burst into flames, causing the tentacles binding him to evaporate instantly. After burning away the tentacles, Ddraig sank his teeth into the Orphan of Kos’s neck and tore out a chunk of flesh along with part of its face. Holding the flesh in his mouth, Ddraig took a deep breath and gathered flames in his maw.

Ddraig unleashed dragon flame from his mouth once again, setting the Orphan of Kos’s body ablaze. Feeling his body burning, the Orphan of Kos let out a screech of pain, causing lightning to fall from the sky. Ddraig smirked contemptuously and breathed dragon flame into the sky, shattering the storm clouds.

“Do you think I don’t know how to fight those who control the weather?” Ddraig said, piercing the Orphan of Kos’s chest with his tail.

“Ddraig, finish him. Any more and this space will crack,” Alex shouted, urging Ddraig to hurry.

Ddraig looked around but saw nothing unusual. While he was looking around, the Orphan of Kos broke free from his grip and counterattacked. Ddraig dodged at the last moment and immediately sank his claws into the creature’s flesh. He pulled his head back and delivered a headbutt to the Orphan of Kos’s head.

What Ddraig had gained from the contract with Alex was not only training methods but also Alex’s fighting style — which basically consisted of brutally beating the opponent down. Ddraig began headbutting the Orphan of Kos repeatedly. With each headbutt, a dent appeared in the creature’s head. Stopping the headbutts, Ddraig pulled his claws out of the Orphan of Kos’s body and grabbed its arms.

Planting his feet against the creature’s torso, Ddraig began ripping off its arms. With a sharp pull, he tore both arms free. After tearing off the arms, Ddraig sank his claws into the Orphan of Kos’s body and began flapping his wings to rise upward. Soon Ddraig was ascending, lifting the giant body of the Orphan of Kos higher and higher.

Reaching the required height, Ddraig released the giant body, and the Orphan of Kos began to fall. Hovering high in the sky, Ddraig raised his maw upward and began sucking in a massive amount of air, causing his chest to expand greatly.

“Welsh Dragon’s Flame Blast,” Ddraig muttered, lowering his maw and staring at the falling body of the Orphan of Kos.

Ddraig exhaled a powerful stream of crimson flame that instantly reached the Orphan of Kos. The pillar of crimson flame slammed into the creature’s body, making it fall faster. With a thunderous crash, the giant body of the Orphan of Kos smashed into the sea’s surface.
