“How many beds would you like?”

“Two each.”

“Alright, give me a moment, I’ll get it set up…”

He left the counter and hurried up the stairs, leaving them in the lobby which also served as a restaurant.

“So, how do we find the merchant? You said you know how, right?” Yen asked from beside him.

Eliron nodded. “There is a man who has permission to give the night time location of the merchant. But he is quite an eccentric personality, convincing him will not be easy…”

Yen hummed. “Hmm, but you have a plan right?”

“Naturally. The man only comes out at night, but because of how distrusting he is, we can’t go as a group as large as this…”

Artie leaned on the counter, her hands folded across her chest. “What are you suggesting then?”

“Me and Ash will go to the tavern to locate the informant. We will find a way to get him to tell us the location, and even use force if necessary…”

The innkeeper came down about ten minutes later with two room keys.

The doors to one of these many shops swung open, and out of it came two well dressed elves.

Eliron was dressed in black clothing that resembled a suit, but with enough variations to give it a flare of the medieval times.

His blue hair was neatly arranged, a black top hat resting atop his head, and his golden necklace was resting nicely against his chest.

Ash on the other hand was in a long coat that went down to his knees, a white shirt and suspenders that kept his pants up.

Eliron took in a deep breath then exhaled.

“Ahhhh—! I feel like I am made of money.”

“Is there really any need for us to wear these human clothes?” Ash asked, moving awkwardly in them.

“Of course, we need to properly blend in if we don’t want to alarm the infomat…”

’Plus I’ve always wanted to try on a suit…’ Eliron thkught.

In his last life, Eliron could not afford to buy a suit. Not only were they too expensive, there would have been little to no opportunity to actually wear one.

But now, things were different.

Locating the tavern where the informant often stayed was not a difficult task, just like it had been mentioned in the novel, he found the tavern after walking for a few minutes.

“Wait.” A man, clearly having more authority than the others said, cigar in his mouth, the buttons on his shirt undone as he watched Eliron.

Eliron had both hands in his pockets, and he leaned forward ever so slightly as he strutted into the room.

He pulled out one hand, bringing a gold coin with it, the money gleaming like a mini sun.

Right in his hand was a hundread silver pieces!

He rotated the coin on his finger tips then sent it rolling up his arm, just before flicking it with his elbow—right into the bartender’s waiting hands.

“One round of drinks for everyone here.” He said with a smile.

Ash glanced at the bartender as he adjusted the cuffs of his shirt. “And keep the change…”

As veers began to erupt, the two of them walked to the round table, and pulled out chairs for themselves, inviting themselves to the game.

Eliron crossed his legs and smirked.

“A fine evening isn’t it?”

The man at the head of the table smiled and pulled out his cigar.

“A fine evening it is…”
